"Brian DUCK"
Rei shouted at Brian, when Brian saw her impression, without hesitation or even looking around,he ducked his head downward making the bullet that was supposed to hit him miss. But the shooter continues to shoot at the van hoping one bullet will hit him. Rei picked up her gun which was lying on the floor and shot the unknown person on his hand as he was concentrating on Brian didn't notice Rei at all. Rei runs to the van and gets inside it , telling Brian to drive. As Brian tried to drive the van away from the parking lot, the previous unknown person who Rei formally beat, runs to the front of the van shooting at them directly.
Out of fear, Brian runs the van hitting him and throwing the shooter off to the side. Brian hit the brake pedal and looked at the shooter to check if he killed someone. Rei sees Brian being scared and distracted, dragging Brian to the back of the van saying :" you get back of the van and call the police or Kai right now ". Rei sat at the driver seat and drove out of the car park while Brian with a shaking hands dial Kai number telling her to call the police.
When they had gone a bit far from the skating rink,Rei looks around to check if anything or anyone was following them but did not see any weird or suspicious movement, she felt relieved and said:" phew that was close". Rei heard hitting from behind then looked at the inner mirror and saw Brian hitting his head on the window of the van murmuring to himself as he was shaking,saying "I am going to die,I am going to die" . Rei scoffed and said to her self:" at least you know you can die too". Rei tried a way to get Brian attention to get him at of his fear. "Hey, I don't know what your problem is or what you did to drag enemies to yourself but I want you to do something for ". Brian stop banging his head and tried to maintain his posture before replied to Rei saying :" I am seriously not in the mood of what you are going to say right now, please leave me alone".
" Remember this, you must protect this three things: your brain, your heart and importantly your legs, since your competition is coming up and I don't want anything to happen to those two leg of yours. Your enemies know that, that is why they are targeting you". Rei said not minding if Brian was listening to her and kept on driving the van. Brian scoffed and smiles,then said : " I didn't know that old lady is care and worries about me" . " Me? Care about you? In your f**king dreams. I am only telling you this cause am worried about my job protecting you. If something happens to you while am on duty,I will get the blame even if it is not my fault,so youprotect yourself even if am not there" Rei said as she continues driving the van entering a road hallway. Brian scoffed and laugh,then said :" I was thinking you cared about me, not knowing it was your work you are worried about", ,"sure a waste of thinking" : Rei said. As they was talking, Brian phone rang and it was Kai calling,he picked the call and a worried voice answered, saying :" Brian are you okay?, Are you hurt? Where is Rei ? Is she with you? " ,"please let me answer one question at the time,yes I am fine and yes Rei is with me and is driving me home home, nothing to be worried about " Brian said. "That is a relief, what about Rei phone? I am trying to reach her but it is not connecting" Kai said.
"I think her phone is dead, you can ta-".
Before Brian could finish his statement, a truck hit the van driver area as they arrived at the end of the road hallway. The car stumble and stumbled at the side of the road, the van hit a tree making it to stop stumbling. "Hello, hello, please anyone should answer me? What is going on?" Kai voice kept shouting from Brian phone as she could sense the danger. Brian looks around to check what was happening and cough cause of the smoke coming from the van. He quickly checked his body and noticed he only got bruised,he proceeds in checking on Rei but she had loss consciousness from the collision and she was bleeding from her head. Brian runs to get his phone with Kai still on the phone saying panicking :" Kai ,call the ambulance and the police right now and track my phone location to find me hurry ". "What is going on?" Kai asked worried. Brian shouted:" just do what I said ",he ended the call.
Brian brought Rei out of the van and kept shaking and calling Rei who was still unconscious. While he was trying to wake Rei,two masked men stepped out of the truck holding a baseball bat walking to the direction of Brian. Brian knows it is not going to be safe for him tried to run away but got hit by the men. They started hitting him with the bat but Brian hit one of the men on his groin then pushed the other and ran away, but they got up and pursue Brian. There was a small supermarket by the road, Brian runs the the place and then hid in one of the trash bin there without caring if there was trash on it. The men didn't see him but they continued to find him around the building.
Later on, Brian didn't hear any sounds,so he came out of the trash bin looking around checking if anyone was around. As he tried to leave the building,a hand grabbed his clothes and tossed him to the ground. He got his on his stomach by one of the masked men who caught him and then proceeded in hitting him with the bat in his hand targeting his legs. Brian screamed in pain remember what Rei told him about protecting his legs. He then wrap his hand around his legs and face his back towards the man making his back to receive the hit not his legs as he bears the pain crying softly. The masked man noticed what Brian did,got pissed then pulled Brian by his hair and started hitting him on the face to make Brian let go of his legs but Brian still hold on.
"You have done enough,let me take it from here"
The marked man and Brian turned to the direction where the voice was heard and saw ..…....
