Darkness.
Then, a heartbeat.
And another.
When Gabriel opened his eyes, he didn't see the sky. He saw a white ceiling, decorated with luxurious moldings and a crystal chandelier. He felt the weight of heavy sheets, made of expensive fabric. And most disconcerting: his body didn't respond as it had before. He was lighter. Younger.
He tried to sit up, but a voice stopped him.
"Now you're going to wake up?"
In front of him, a young woman with long hair and steady eyes looked at him as if she owed him years of explanations. She was holding a small girl with dark curls in her arms. Beside her, an identical boy was playing with a tablet.
Twins.
Gabriel felt a chill.
He didn't recognize that body.
He didn't recognize that woman.
And yet... his heart raced.
Where am I? Who am I now?
"I don't have time for your games, Iker," the young woman continued. "I'm sick of your silence. And if you're going to disappear again, at least say goodbye to your children."
Iker.
The name echoed in her mind. Like an echo… that wasn't hers.
Then, an invisible notification flashed before her eyes, as if an interface were emerging from her consciousness:
📡 [Synchronization initiated – Codex Absolutum]
"Transferred consciousness detected. Recalibrating neural pattern to host Iker Ayala (19 years old)."
Gabriel—now Iker—froze. He was trapped in the body of a young man with a wife, children, and a life he had clearly been… wasting.
The woman frowned.
"Don't act like an amnesiac again. What did you do this time, Iker?"
Before she could answer, the system reactivated.
🧠 Welcome to the Absolute Compression System

A new window appeared. The title made him catch his breath:
🎬 Jurassic Park (1993) – Technology available after full viewing.
Recommendation: Activate secure projector. Private mode.
A movie? Technology? What kind of madness is this...?
And yet, he felt it: it wasn't a lie. It was real.
The woman turned, ready to leave.
"I'm going to make some food. Do whatever you want, Iker... like always."
Iker (Gabriel) watched her leave with the twins, while the system continued to unfold possibilities in his mind.
His new self was hated. But now he had the power to change everything.
And as he looked in the mirror at that young, broken face for the first time… Gabriel Ayala decided he wouldn't inherit anything.
He would build an empire. From scratch.
And the world would never be the same again.
