i wake up inside a forest i look around there was nothing but trees around not a single human or animal i looked around then i looked at myself and realized something i was kind of transparency looking skin i was confused and tried to understand i looked around to make sure it isn't a prank.
then a voice appered i looked around and find nothing then a system appered inside of his mind a voice that felt natural but also it didn't have a gender he said ''hello i am here to help you in this life''
i was shocked so i asked ''what are you,where are you,why am i here,where am i,who am i, what am i,what the hell is going on''

so i just realized that i am in my favorite webtoon as the strongest race in the book the spirit unlike other races spirit are born with magic and semi immortal beings whom can only be hurt by magic and the only species whom can achiave magic is dragons even then without the help of a actual spirit they can only achiave one element even then it is rare to find a dragon whom achiaved magic naturally but even when they have magic they still can't beat a spirit it's been like a 8.000 year even then the spirit wasnt even strong he was a newborn
and for other races to have magic they will need to beg a spirit to upgrade them and that never happens, do you want to know why beacuse spirits are dumb,egoistical,childish assholes they literally lose barely nothing from doing and the thing they lose can easily be regained in less than a month and that is not counting the soul contract multiplier
leaving that aside let me talk about the race improvement thing is basicly for humans,elfs,beast peoples,dwarfs,gnomes,orcs and dragons is can receive in to a high version of themselfs for example high human or high dwarf and for demonic races like demons,undeads,alps,succubus for them there is only 2 option to achiave a higher tier version of their race there is only two options either a demon king grants them or a demonic spirit so they techniquely have more luck to be a high race.
