Synopsis
Octa was a boy without grand ambitions. Throughout his life, he had moved forward only by chasing someone else’s dream. He once believed that he would feel truly alive once he fulfilled his mentor’s ambition, but he was terribly wrong. When he found a book in an old warehouse, the boy did not expect it to affect him as he read the pages that contained the thoughts of a person who was born long before he was, perhaps even before Chironex, the place where he was raised, was created. The boy gave the figure the name Mr. Camellia, which came from a hand-painted Camellia flower on the cover.  It was because of the book that he realized that he could have his own dreams and ambitions, it was because of the book that the young man was driven to leave the place where he grew up and descend to the original land that had human history before civilization existed.  But he did not expect that the ground he stepped on would be white, and the wind he felt on his skin would be chilled to the bone.  Octa had no idea that the land he encountered when he descended from the sky was a frozen land. at least the young man was not alone.

Chapter 1 - three flies

The prefect may have an affair with the class Supervisor, Miss Tisa. Even when he was busy preparing for the four children's departure to the capital, the excited man still found time to meet the soft-spoken Miss Tisa.

But thanks to that, I was able to hear their conversation through the hair ornament that I used as an eavesdropping device. I could now hear the conversation of two adults that had become the daily talk of the teenage girls in the dormitory.

It seems that my eavesdropping device is still not perfect, so I can't hear too clearly because the sound seems to be cut into pieces. However, I was still able to understand a bit and come to a tentative conclusion.

4 children were selected, including myself of course. We will be placed in the final resting place. A place where we will spend our last night in this place with lots of food and toys that we have always wanted, before we finally leave for the capital.

I felt happy, because it would benefit me. Although, I ended up having to change a small part of my plan because it wasn't quite in line with my prediction. Fortunately, I am a person who was born with strong determination. Although, I ended up having to change a small part of my plan because it wasn't quite in line with my prediction. Fortunately, I am a person who was born with strong determination. All sweet things cannot be easily obtained in a sweet way too, sometimes we have to take the spicy way.

Their conversation ended, which was a pity, because I could have gotten a lot more out of it if it had gone on a little longer.

turned off the earphone I was wearing in my left ear and put it into the small red box that was my candy depository that I had kept for 2 years. The box was tucked into the pocket of my hoodie, which I had now laid neatly on the bed. I planned to wear it later tonight—after all, a good event deserves good clothes.

I couldn't wait to see the prefect scratching his hair bald after he saw what I was about to do. Would he finally go completely bald, if he knew that the child who had been the key to his return to the capital had suddenly disappeared. What a pity, if only I could see that

I brushed away the dust on the book cover, being careful not to scratch the cover or damage it.

I had been taking good care of the book for two weeks since I found it in a warehouse that had not been opened for a long time.

The book that changed my life, an object that contains a record of someone who is nowhere to be found, is he alive or dead? I have no idea. However, the owner of this book has made me go this far, just to find out if it's true that the world originally had beaches and oceans. Does the original world really have insects that have unique designs and varied shapes? I want to know, I want to see it with my own eyes!

I wondered more and more about what I would do once I got out of this suffocating place. But unfortunately it had to be stopped due to noisy footsteps, I immediately knew who the owner of the voice was. The two of them really have characterful footsteps.

I immediately hid the book in a place where there was no way the trio could find out. A place that made them feel scared to touch it or go near it, an old cupboard.

They didn't want to go near it because a little friend of mine had occupied it and made it his home.

I finished storing my book in the little old cupboard that had accompanied me since I was a child, I felt proud that I managed to keep this item with me. Soon the sound of the door opening rang in my ears, making me immediately look back.

3 people who were 2 years older than me, now stood staring at me who was also staring at them.

The long mouth boy folded his hands in front of his chest and looked at me with a cynical gaze.

"Why do we have to room with this brat?" The long mouth complained, again.

Cherily, the girl who liked to tie her hair in various styles was now staring at the long mouth with an annoyed look.

"I told you before, that we'll be put in the old building. That's why you shouldn't come out and listen to me until the end!" saw Cherily moving closer to the long mouth and I could guess that she was now pinching his back, based on the expression of pain that the man was now making.

"Brother and sister, calm down. Aren't we, as elders, supposed to set a good example?" That person, the one with the side parted hair, suddenly appeared and intervened.

He stood in the center and acted like a good older brother. But I have to admit that he did a good thing for the first time in his 14 years of life by making those two people shut up as soon as the side-parted boy grabbed their shoulders and start talking about being a good person.

The boy smiled. Why is he smiling? Is he practicing to make good images there later? As a smiling person? They can get heart attacks in the long run, especially the old ones.

"Forgive them both, Octa. Especially Andi. They seem to be too happy because they passed the exam. I hope it doesn't affect you too much, including your health because I heard you have a weak physique. We don't want you to miss your departure, do we?"

That person was as chatty as ever. No wonder he was named the chattiest person in the dormitory. Indeed, an unusual achievement from the dormitory's talk master, Antonio Alberto.

I just need to act normal for this time, for the last time.

"Don't worry, I won't get sick just because of someone's complaint. Thank you for your concern, brother Anton. I know my health better than anyone," I said in as friendly a tone as possible. I even put on a smile, I don't know how my smile looks right now, I hope it doesn't look bad so that Cherily doesn't comment.

I was wondering why the four of you were taking so long, turns out it's because you kids were discussing something completely incomprehensible," said a voice from behind the wall.

The person stepped forward, and I recognized her. It was Mrs. Croceta, the caretaker in charge of the children in Class A, a class filled with kids aged three to five.

I hadn't seen her in a long time, because once we turned six, we moved up to Class B, Which will be guarded and supervised by Miss Tisa. We would remain in Class B until we turned nineteen.

In Class B, the children began living in dormitories, though they still had holidays to return home.

Starting at the age of twelve, we were allowed to take selection exams. If we passed, we could move to the capital and begin training to become researchers there.

"I'm sure you all don't have anything left to do, right?"

The three people, all older than me, nodded quickly, their body language showing fear and nervousness. That was new to me, i rarely saw them like that.

"What about you, Octavian?"

I reflexively looked at Madam Croceta. It was rare for anyone to ask about me.

"I have nothing left to do."

Madam Croceta seemed satisfied to hear that, as if she disliked having to look after us for too long.

"Good. Let's go."

Madam Croceta immediately walked out after saying that. The three others quickly followed her, walking briskly to keep up, as Madam Croceta walked very fast. I was the last one walking behind them, feeling a little envious of her long legs.

I hoped to grow as tall a—no! I want to be even taller than Mrs. Croceta!
