Chapter 18 - Chapter 18:The fall of arlong

Arlong Park loomed like a monstrous fortress—walls high, spiked gates closed, and the air heavy with salt and hate.

The Straw Hats approached in unison, the ground crunching under their feet. Vihaan walked with his coat off, chest exposed, glistening with the sea's humidity—each of his shredded abs tight with anticipation. Luffy walked ahead, his straw hat shadowing his expression. Zoro's swords were already half-drawn. Sanji flicked away his cigarette. Usopp, though shaking slightly, walked steady. And behind them all, Nami clenched her fists, fury replacing tears.

They crashed through the gates.

Arlong was already standing at the top of the stairs, flanked by his lieutenants—Kuroobi and Chew—and a small battalion of armed fishmen. "Back so soon?" he sneered. "And this time, you brought your circus."

"Shut up, fish freak!" Luffy roared, springing into action.

The battle began with thunder.

Sanji and Zoro charged straight at the lackeys. Chew leapt forward, shooting water bullets from his mouth, but Sanji spun mid-air, dodging each shot and slamming a kick into Chew's gut.

Zoro clashed swords with Kuroobi, their blades ringing through the battlefield. Kuroobi dove into the water, but Zoro predicted it, jumping high and landing a powerful aerial slash as the fishman emerged.

Meanwhile, Vihaan moved with eerie calmness, stepping into a mirror panel mid-air and reappearing behind a squad of corrupt marines who'd come to back Arlong. Without even turning, he created dozens of tiny mirror shards that hovered like blades and launched them outward in controlled patterns.

One by one, the marines dropped.

Then Arlong joined the fray.

He charged at Luffy and Vihaan simultaneously, his teeth gnashing, nose leading the assault like a spear.

"Let's go, co-captain," Vihaan said coolly.

"YEAHHH!!" Luffy grinned wide.

Luffy stretched his arms wide, launching a Gatling barrage. Arlong blocked with his iron-hard skin, but the punches kept him reeling. Vihaan mirrored himself mid-run, creating two after-images, and vanished into his mirrors only to reappear beside Arlong's exposed flank, slamming a mirror-coated punch directly into his ribs.

Arlong let out a roar, spinning to slap Vihaan away with his massive arm. The boy was sent flying, but flipped mid-air and created a mirror disc to land on.

"Nice hit," Vihaan muttered. "Now try this."

He formed a "Mirror Dome"—a glimmering barrier of mirrors surrounding him and Luffy, sealing off Arlong. The mirrors reflected every light, creating infinite illusions of the Straw Hat duo.

"What is this trickery?" Arlong bellowed.

"Confused?" Vihaan grinned. "Let me help."

From all angles, distorted mirror-clones of Luffy stretched in and attacked. Only one was real—but Arlong couldn't tell which.

He growled, then dove toward the water beyond the dome, breaking it open with a surge of power.

Arlong's Desperation: The Pill

From the shallows of his pool, Arlong pulled out a Fishman Enhancement Pill—a deep violet, glowing with toxic energy. He popped it into his mouth.

Muscles swelled. Gills opened wider. Veins pulsed. Arlong howled and re-emerged, nearly double his size, now towering over even Luffy and Vihaan.

From below, he slashed the seawater with his massive fins, splashing waves of salty water directly at Vihaan and Luffy.

Vihaan stumbled.

Luffy too began weakening, falling to one knee.

"You fruit-eaters are no match for the sea!" Arlong bellowed. "It's where I reign!"

But Vihaan, gritting his teeth, raised his palm. "You're not the only one who's been training."

The Mirror Dome – Version Two

"Mirror Dome: Reverse Flow!" he shouted.

The mirrors reformed instantly, surrounding all three of them again—but this time, they shimmered inwards. As the water splashed, it was redirected, funneled, and expelled through the other side of the dome, nullifying the attack.

Arlong stared. "WHAT?!"

"Learned it just recently," Vihaan smirked. "Not bad, right?"

"I'M GONNA RIP YOU APART!"

He lunged—but that was all Luffy needed. With the water distraction gone, Luffy leapt, twisted mid-air, and shouted:

"GUM-GUM AXE!"

His leg came crashing down from the heavens, slamming Arlong straight into the center of his tower.

The building cracked.

Vihaan, eyes sharp, saw the rubble falling toward Nami and Usopp below. He raised both hands, summoning a massive reflective panel.

"Mirror Wall!" he yelled.

The debris slammed into it—and bounced harmlessly into the ocean.

Nami looked up in awe. "He… protected me."

The Final Blow

The dust cleared.

Arlong stood, barely—his eyes bloodshot, his nose broken, fangs chipped. He roared one final time, charging toward Luffy.

Luffy looked at Vihaan.

"You go high. I go low," Vihaan said simply.

They moved.

Vihaan zipped upward, using his mirror launch technique, flipping through the air to confuse Arlong.

Luffy ducked low, charging a full-body stretch.

Together—

Vihaan struck from above with a Mirror Fist Smash, and Luffy delivered an uppercut with Gum-Gum Bazooka from below.

Arlong's body flew skyward, then came crashing down through the top of the tower… and into the basement of Arlong Park.

Crack.

Silence.

And then—

BOOOOOM.

The entire structure began collapsing.

Vihaan and Luffy dashed out, laughing like maniacs.

Aftermath

The villagers gathered.

Arlong Park was gone. Their tyrant… defeated.

Nami stared at the ruins for a long moment before bursting into tears. Genzo ran forward and embraced her.

"Thank you… thank you all…"

Zoro walked out carrying three unconscious fishmen. "We done?"

"Sanji's cooking already," Usopp added.

Vihaan turned to the sea. The sun was setting.

"Luffy."

The straw-hatted boy turned. "Yeah?"

"Two co-captains. One crew. Let's make it legendary."

Luffy grinned. "Hell yeah."

Nami, wiping her tears, walked over to Vihaan. "I never got to say thank you…"

He looked at her, gently. "You just did."
