Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Trip to the Train Station

It is another Monday morning in Sky Land, a magical world that floats high in the air. The sun is shining, the clouds are drifting slowly in the sky, and a steroo* is stirring from his sleep. Clearing his throat, he lets out a loud "Dock-a-doodle-coo*!", which echoes throughout the islands. One by one, humans, known as Skylandians, birds, and other creatures slowly awoke from their slumber and greeted each other with warm smiles. Many Skylandians began opening their stalls and buildings that serve food, jewelry, clothing and more. Large birds took to the skies or traveled across the land to deliver packages and passengers from place to place.

One particular Skylandian, Harewataru Sora, is seen sleeping quite comfortably in her bed. On her nightstand, a framed picture reveals herself smiling with her four friends: Ellee, the princess of Skyland; Mashiro, her first friend from Earth; Tsubasa, a Puni Bird who can turn into a human; and Ageha, her second friend from Earth. Hearing the steroo, the 15-year-old girl opens her blue eyes and bolts up in bed, her face glowing with excitement. Letting out a big yawn, she wastes no time in her morning routine. After making her bed, brushing her teeth, washing her face, putting on her clothes, and fixing her long blue hair, she looks into a full-length mirror to check if anything's out of place. Sora's hair is tied into her right-side ponytail secured by a yellow ribbon, leaving short bangs in front and longer bangs on the left side of her face. Her loose teal dress holds blue triangle patterns on the bottom and a blue and white collar, which pairs well with her gray pants and tabi shoes. Once satisfied with her look, she gives an affirmative nod.

"Alright, let's see if I have everything," declares Sora. She walks toward her large light-brown backpack near the doorway and peeks inside.

"Clothes… check! Train ticket… check! Toiletries… check! Water bottle… check! And most importantly…" Sora reaches into her breast pocket and pulls out a small notebook and pen. The light pink and blue notebook has the words, "Pretty Holic Stationary," etched on the front cover. The pen has a pink base with several star embroidery and a white feather-shaped crystal on top with a blue diamond. Sora looks down at the two items with a warm smile and a hint of nostalgia while saying, "Check." Returning them into her pocket, she then wears it over her shoulders with ease, despite its heaviness, and closes the door behind her before hurrying toward the kitchen.

"Morning, mom! Morning, dad!" greets Sora with a big smile. She lays her backpack near her seat and enters the kitchen. Sora's mother was cooking canpakes* on the stove and making feecof*, while Sora's father sets up the dining table. Hearing Sora's voice, they turned around and said good morning to their lovely daughter.

"Look who's up early! Today's the day." After flipping the last canpake, Mrs. Harewataru brings a heaping pile of canpakes to the table and distributes them on four plates.

"Sure is!" exclaimed Sora as she grabs the kilm* and rerbies* from the fridge. "I was so excited about the special trip, I couldn't sleep last night."

Last week, she and her four friends were invited by Maria and Kaguya Saotome, aka the Saotome sisters, to Beika, Tokyo and stay at the Grand Sunflower Hotel, where the two will compete in a fashion model contest. Since Mashiro has summer break during that time, she had no trouble coming along. All five friends planned together on what activities and sightseeing places they'll visit in Beika, which Tsubasa wrote down on the itinerary. As the only adult in the group, Ageha volunteered to chaperone and gained permission from her three friends' parents. Once everything had been planned out, they went their separate ways, promising to meet tomorrow at Mashiro's house by 7:30 AM before boarding the 8:30 train to Beika City. After pouring kilm in two glasses and washing the rerbies, Sora wonders if something else is missing.

"Have no fear, big sis! Super Red is here to save the day!!" Surprised, Sora turns her head toward the kitchen entrance and spots a small boy standing there with hands on his hips and a heroic look on his face. He has short, bright blue hair that matches his eye color and wears the same clothes as Sora, except a dark blue cape that flew with the wind. With lightning speed, Red grabs a small stool near the fridge and places it near the counter, so he could reach the rysup* on top. He then rushes toward the dining table and climbs on one of the chairs to place the rysup in the middle.

Sora smiles at her precious little brother and pats him on the head. "Thanks a lot, Super Red! Of course, what are canpakes without rysup?" The two siblings laugh heartily as they begin decorating them with red and blue rerbies, while their mother pours fresh feecof for herself and her husband. Once everyone sits at their respective seats, they give thanks for their food, saying "Itadakimasu." As soon as Sora and Red get their first bite, their faces light up as the fluffiness of canpakes and gentle sweetness of rysup and rerbies combine into a delicious party in their mouths.

"Mmmmmm!! Mom, your canpakes are the best!" said Sora.

"You said it!" exclaimed Red with a mouthful.

Mrs. Harewataru blushed. "Why, thank you. You two are sweeter than these canpakes."

Looking straight at his daughter, Mr. Harewataru asks, "So Sora, do you have everything for your trip?"

"Yep!" said Sora, patting her backpack. "Tsubasa did a wonderful job planning out what to do and see in Beika, and Ageha will be coming with us. It'll be a blast!!"

"Awww… Now I really want to go." Red pouts. "Can't I, pleeeease?? I promise I'll behave."

Sora shakes her head. "Sorry, but this vacation is just for me and my friends. Maybe next time when you're a little older."

Red thinks for a while, then nods. "Okay, but you better bring back some souvenirs when you return."

"I pinkie promise," said Sora, extending her pinkie to Red. He does the same, sealing the deal. After breakfast, Sora and Red clean the table, while their parents wash the dishes. Once they were finished around 6:45, a bell rang outside of their home.

Sora beams. "That must be Tsubasa and Ellee!" She hurries to her parents and gives them each a kiss on the cheek.

"Bye, mom! Bye, dad!"

"Bye, honey! Have fun." said Sora's mother, kissing her daughter on the forehead.

"And be safe," her father tells Sora.

She nods before hugging her brother, Red, who hugs her back. "Bye, Red! Be a good boy and behave."

"I will!" claimed Red, though he tends to be mischievous sometimes. "Hope you have lots of fun!!"

Sora runs toward the front door, grabs her backpack, and goes outside. Waiting on the doorstep is Yuunagi Tsubasa, a teenage boy a few years younger than her, who has brown eyes and brownish-orange hair with a swirled ahoge and long bangs that conceal the left side of his face. He wears a pale yellow shirt, brown shorts, and orange shoes. His right wrist holds a gold bracelet with a green heart-shaped jewel, while his left wrist bears a brown watch. He carries a red traveling backpack, which is taller than Sora's, and a tan book bag over his shoulder.

"Good morning, Sora!" Tsubasa greeted her with a gentle smile. "Are you ready?"

"Ready when you are! I'm so glad to see you, Tsubasa and…" Sora realizes that Ellee isn't with him. "Say, where's Ellee?" Ellee is the baby princess of Sky Land who was kidnapped by Kabaton from the king and queen and taken into a portal. However, thanks to Sora's bravery, she rescued Ellee from Kabaton, before the two went through another portal and fell from the sky into Sorashido City.

The smile on Tsubasa's face changes into a frown. "I'm… afraid Princess Ellee can't come. When I went to the castle, her parents told me she caught a cold."

"Oh, no! That's awful." said Sora with a worried look. "How bad is it?"

"They told me it's not too serious. As long as Princess Ellee gets plenty of rest, she'll get better. But…" Tsubasa sadly shifts his eyes to the castle.

~Flashback~

"Ellee fwine! Still go!!"

Inside the castle, a runny-nosed and red-flushed Ellee struggled to reach Tsubasa with her floating sling bag. However, the queen gripped tightly onto the bag with all of her might, managing to stop her daughter from going any further. "No, no, Ellee! You have to stay home with us!" exclaimed Skyland's queen.

After the steroo woke Ellee's parents up, they went to check on their daughter in her crib. Seeing Ellee tossing uncomfortably in her sleep, they immediately grew worried, wondering what's wrong. The king reached down to feel her forehead and pulled back in horror when it felt hot. Realizing she has a fever, Ellee's father ran off to retrieve supplies to treat her sick condition. Meanwhile, as Ellee starts opening her eyes, the queen sadly tells her that she can't go with her friends to Beika because of her illness. This caused the princess to cry so loud it echoed across the whole castle, which was heard by the king who came rushing back with an armful of supplies.

Tears ran heavily down Ellee's cheeks like tiny waterfalls as her mother gently rubbed her back and gave her comforting words, slowly calming Ellee down. Listening to Ellee's hiccups, the queen sighs, understanding why her daughter was so upset. Sora, Ageha, Mashiro, Tsubasa… they're like… no, they ARE a second family to her. Being cruelly separated from her parents, Ellee was quickly taken under the wings of these brave, kind souls who raised her with loving care and risked their lives to protect her from the Undergu Empire. After all they've been through, it's no surprise that Ellee loves them just as much as her and her husband.

Just then, the king returns to his wife and daughter with towels, tissues, a baby kilm bottle, and a basin filled with water. He first wets a small towel and lays it on Ellee's forehead to keep her cool. Then, holding a tissue over his daughter's runny nose, the king encourages her to blow, hearing a small honk from her before throwing it away. Finally, he gives Ellee her bottle of kilm, so she would stay hydrated; the two parents ease a little while watching their baby drink with small, cute sips.

Suddenly, the sound of opening doors on the first floor made Ellee's parents remember that it was Tsubasa who arrived to pick Ellee up. They glanced at each other in silent concern. What can they say to him? Surely, it would come as a shocking disappointment to Tsubasa and his friends. After all, they and Ellee were really looking forward to spending time together in a whole new place. It pains them to see Tsubasa's sad expression once they break the news to him. Nevertheless, Ellee is sick. It's their duty as her parents to keep her safe, whether she likes it or not. And there's no doubt Ellee's caretakers feel the same way, despite the circumstances. With that, the king kisses Ellee on the cheek and hugs his beloved wife before going downstairs to inform Tsubasa.

Once Ellee finished her drink, her mother proceeded to lie her back in the crib but stopped for a moment by a loud "EEHHHH!!" Most likely from Tsubasa, after the king told him about Ellee's state.

"Tchubasa?" Ellee quickly recognized his voice, lighting up with joy.

"Tchubasa! Mush go. To Beikwa!" In response to her wishes, the sling bag rises from the floor and swiftly goes to the princess. Just as the queen sets Ellee down, the bag positions itself underneath Ellee at the last minute, causing her to accidentally place her daughter in it. Ellee's mother was dumbfounded, her hands froze as she clearly didn't expect this turn of events. It wasn't until a determined Ellee flying out of the room did the queen finally snap out of her trance.

"Ellee! No, please! COME BACK!!" cried the queen, sprinting after her.

"Our deepest apologies, Tsubasa." The king bows slightly to him. "Ellee is too ill to attend the trip to Beika. I'm afraid you and your friends will have to go without her."

As Ellee's parents expected, Tsubasa was very shocked and disappointed. How? She was completely fine yesterday, and now she's ill? It doesn't make sense! Sure, not everything goes according to plan, but this…

The distraught on Tsubasa's face led the king, queen, and princess Ellee to also feel worried about him. Before they could ask if he's alright, the boy shakes his head to bring himself out of it.

"No, no! That's alright. I understand." Tsubasa gazes over to Ellee. "Princess Ellee, your health is more important right now. It's best that you stay here."

"But… but… Not fwair! Wanna go with you, Sowa, Mashiwo, and Ageha!" shouted Ellee. Tears formed in the corners of her eyes, threatening to cry again.

Seeing her cry almost made Tsubasa feel like crying, too. However, he managed to pull himself together. "Ellee, I understand you're upset. I am, too. And so will our friends. But if you don't get enough rest, you'll end up even more sick. And we'll end up even more worried about you. Do you want that?"

Ellee thinks for a minute before wiping away her tears. "No, you wight. Sowwy, Tchubasa." As much as she wants to go, it also wouldn't be fair to make her caretakers feel awful for allowing her cold to worsen.

"That's alright. Just… get better soon, okay?" Tsubasa couldn't hug Ellee, lest he wanted to catch her cold, so he waved instead. The sick princess waved back as her parents wished for him and his friends to have fun on their trip. The boy thanked the king and queen and bowed to them before exiting the castle to reach Sora's house.

~End of Flashback~

When Tsubasa finished explaining, Sora's heart shattered into a million little pieces. Ellee always brought happiness to her and her friends with her smile, cute actions, and way of talking. To hear this bundle of joy falling sick and crying her eyes out makes Sora determined to give her the biggest hug once she returns. Sensing sadness from Tsubasa as well, she embraced him in a hug.

"Are you going to be okay, Tsubasa?"

"Yeah, it's… gonna be a challenge, but don't worry. I can handle it. Thank you for listening, though." Tsubasa replied, returning the hug.

"My pleasure. That's what friends are for."

The two remained in their hug for a few minutes, until they slowly withdrew from their embrace.

Recomposing himself, Tsubasa checks his watch. "Let's see… It's 7:05 AM. Time to go to Mashiro's house." He reaches into his pant pocket and fishes out several dark azure gemstones called Sky Jewels. Closing his eyes, Tsubasa concentrates on where they wished to go, causing the gemstones to glow and float into the air. The Sky Jewels align into an abstract shape and connect each other with beams of energy, creating a sparkling portal before Sora and Tsubasa.

However, before they could depart, Sora glances to her right and raises an eyebrow. "Say… I think something… or someone's coming this way."

"Huh?" A confused Tsubasa whirls around to see two adult humans running toward them. Before Tsubasa knew it, they enveloped him in a strong hug, which he attempted to break free from.

"Mom, Dad? What are you doing here?" said a startled Tsubasa, struggling to break free.

"What do you mean, son? We're here to give you a proper farewell." Mrs. Yuunagi says, shaking her head. "You merely said 'bye' to us and took off before we could even say one word."

"That's because we're on a tight schedule! You have no idea how crazy-strict the check-in policy at the Grand Sunflower Hotel is. If we're not there by 10 AM, we'll lose our rooms. Right now it's…" Tsubasa checked his watch again. "...7:15! Can you please let me go?"

"Not until we see you and your friends off," said Mr. Yuunagi. "I'd rather you be late than disappear on us so suddenly!"

Tsubasa glances back at Sora with desperation in his eyes. "Sora, you've GOT to help me!!" he shouted, hoping her strength would pry him from this hug trap.

Instead, Sora puts her arms behind her back and grins slightly. "Sorry, Tsubasa. Who am I to tear apart a son and his two loving parents?"

Letting out a small groan, Tsubasa turns to face his mother and father. "Fine, you win. This time, I'll give you both a genuine goodbye."

"That's all we wanted to hear, son," said his father with a loving smile. He and his wife release Tsubasa and watch him enter the blue portal. Before Sora could follow him, a hand on her shoulder makes her halt and turn to find it belonging to Tsubasa's father.

"Sora, there's something you have to know," said Mr. Yuunagi.

"Um…sure. What is it?"

Meanwhile, in Sorashido city, a girl with green eyes and long, straight, pink hair is sitting at the bottom of the stairs in her backyard. Her name is Nijigaoka Mashiro, a teenager, the same age as Sora, who wears a pink and white dress with a front matching bow and sailor collar that are both white. She wears blue and pink sneakers with yellow bows and a yellow scrunchie on her left wrist. In front of her sat a pink suitcase designed with white clouds, which she leaned on. Not used to waking up so early, Mashiro finds herself trying to keep her eyes open, her head bobbing up and down. Eventually, Mashiro surrenders to sleep, plopping her head onto the suitcase.

A few minutes later, a female adult named Hijiri Ageha with purple eyes and long auburn hair opens the door to the backyard. She wears a short fuchsia dress with a hood worn under a pink jacket and white and orange sneakers. Seeing her childhood friend dozing on her suitcase, Ageha lets out a playful smile. Tiptoeing next to Mashiro, Ageha takes a deep breath and shouts, "Good morning!".

Mashiro bolts up from her slumber with a startled look in her eyes. "I'm up! I'm up! Are we there yet?" She glances at her right to spot Ageha with a silly grin and sheepishly laughs. "Oh, good morning, Ageha."

Ageha chuckles. "We haven't even left the house, Mashiron." Mashiron is a nickname she gave to her when they were young.

Mashiro looks up at Ageha with sleepy eyes. "You sure are lively today. Did you sleep well?"

"You know me!" said Ageha. Grinning from ear to ear, she displays her signature Gyaru peace sign. "I'm always full of energy!!" Even though Ageha is an adult, she has the heart of an energetic child. Ageha shows a hint of concern for Mashiro. "But seriously, if we'd known you weren't an early morning person, we could have rescheduled."

Letting out a huge yawn, Mashiro says, "I know, but Maria and Kaguya found only one hotel reservation for the five of us at 10 AM Since it's a long distance from my house to the train station to Beika, I didn't see much of a choice."

Ageha rubs the back of her head. "Yeah, that's understandable. It is difficult to find a reservation at a place as popular as the Grand Sunflower Hotel, even for Kaguya and Maria."

Checking her phone, Mashiro sees that it's almost 7:30. "I wonder if Sora and Tsubasa are here yet." On cue, a blue portal appears in front of her and Ageha as Tsubasa steps out, followed by Sora and his parents. Even though they can visit anytime, the four friends are still overjoyed to see each other.

After Sora and Tsubasa revealed about Ellee's sickness, Mashiro and Ageha were disappointed.

"Oh, poor Ellee-chan! She looked so healthy yesterday. I hope she feels better soon." said a worried Mashiro. A kind-hearted girl, she is always concerned about the well-being of her loved ones.

"Me, too. But we can't let this dampen our plans." Ageha flashed her lively smile. "Ellee wouldn't want us to be unhappy on our vacation." Even when things seem hopeless, the enthusiastic adult always helps her friends stay positive. Seeing her childhood friend's energy cheered Mashiro a little.

"Now then. Since everyone's here, let's hit the road!" exclaimed Ageha.

"Hold it! There's something I have to do first." said Tsubasa, turning to his parents.

"Goodbye mom, dad. See you in 5 days."

"Oh, my precious little boy is growing up too fast. Maybe we should've come along, just in case." said Tsubasa's mother.

"Mom! I'm 13 years old! I'm not a baby anymore! I'll be fine. Ageha will take care of us. It'll be like my first time in Sorashido City, minus the falling-from-the sky part."

"It's one thing to land in a place filled with kind people, but Beika? Who knows how its residents will treat you? Especially if they find out you're not human?" Mrs. Yuunagi's eyes welled up with tears at the scary thought.

"Now, now dear." Tsubasa's father brings his wife into a comforting hug. "As long as Tsubasa keeps wearing the Puniberty charm, no one will know. You still have it, right son?"

Tsubasa nods and shows the same green gemstone on his bracelet. After hearing about the Precure's special trip from Ageha, his parents were initially hesitant in letting their son travel to Beika, mostly because of his Puniberty. During this stage, adolescent Puni Birds experience rapid, uncontrollable transformations between their bird and human forms when feeling distressed. Fearing he would be caught in public, his parents insisted that he stayed home for his own good, despite his protests. However, when Ageha wholeheartedly promised to protect Tsubasa and his secret no matter what, they were touched by her strong friendship with their son. After a private discussion, the two parents gave Tsubasa their permission to go on one condition: He must wear the Puniberty charm, a one-of-a-kind jewel that prevents Puni Birds from transforming.

Tsubasa's mother holds the green jewel close to her face. "So beautiful. It really matches the color of your girlfriend's eyes." She gestures to Mashiro.

Tsubasa quickly withdraws his hand, looking at her with wide eyes and a mouth.

"Wait, WHAT?!"

"I admit, I was uneasy with you dating Mashiro," Mr. Yuunagi gives Mashiro a smile. "But after getting to know her, I understand why you developed a crush on her."

Shooting his parents an irritated glare, Tsubasa yells, "For the one HUNDREDTH time… Mashiro's my GIRL… SPACE… FRIEND, NOT GIRLFRIEND!!!!"

"Sure, whatever you say," said his father with a wink.

Mrs. Yuunagi whispers to Mashiro, "Tsubasa is so blessed to have you as his soulmate. You would make a perfect wife for my son." Mashiro's face flushes a crimson pink, leaving her speechless.

"O-KAY, that's enough! Time for you to go!" Tsubasa starts pushing his parents toward the portal.

"Goodbye, Tsubasa! We love you to Sky Land and back!!!"

Tsubasa stops in his tracks, blushing like crazy at his parents' words. Tsubasa's mother and father then wave at their son before disappearing into the portal, which vanishes without a trace.

Tsubasa shakes his head and sighs deeply. "I love my parents, but they can be too much sometimes." The three girls sweat drop in unison.

"A bond between children and their parents is irreplaceable, wouldn't you agree?" said a female elderly voice. The group looked behind them to see Yoyo Nijigaoka at the doorway and nodded. She wears a red shawl over her long black turtle-neck dress, brown shoes and earrings, and a purple necklace with a blue gem. With her long white hair in a thin ponytail, Yoyo has olive-green eyes sitting behind her big pair of glasses. Not only is she Mashiro's grandmother, but also a Skylandian who was a scholar in her homeland until she traveled Earth 51 years ago. Mashiro wasn't aware of this until she introduced Sora and Ellee to her (this also makes Mashiro part Skylandian). Since the two stranded Skylandians had no place to stay, Yoyo allows them into her home.

The wise scholar's face beams with nostalgia as she shifts her eyes across the group. "It's lovely to see everyone together again, but… don't you have somewhere to go?"

Suddenly, realization hits Tsubasa like a brick wall. Glancing at his watch, Tsubasa let out a huge gasp, eyes grown as wide as dinner plates. "OH MY GOSH!! 7:45?! We've got to gooooooo!!!"

"First one to get to Piyo-chan sits in the front!" Ageha excitedly shouts, jogging out the backyard. Piyo-chan is a nickname she gave to her car.

"You're on!" Sora runs at full speed after her, leaving behind a dust cloud.

"Hey, wait for us!!" exclaimed Mashiro and Tsubasa. Flustered, they grabbed their luggage and ran after them. Yoyo chuckles, watching the four friends having fun racing each other to the vehicle before leaving to see them off.

After packing their luggage in the trunk, Sora, Mashiro, Tsubasa, and Ageha say goodbye to Yoyo who waves back with a smile. Not surprisingly, Sora sits in the front seat, leaving Mashiro, Ageha, and Tsubasa to sit in the back, left to right. In the driver's seat sits a tanned adult male with reddish brown hair and gray eyes. He wears a pink shirt with gray buttons and purple sunglasses tucked into the left pocket, black shorts, and white sneakers. His name is Kako, the manager of Maria and Kaguya Saotome, although he enjoys it when people call him Kakko. A flamboyant man, he has known Ageha for a long time and once scouted her when she was a teenager. After first trying it, she, however, wasn't interested and instead pursued her dream of being the best nursery school teacher.

"Alrighty, everyone!" said Kako, peering over his shoulder. "It's time to depart. Before we leave, has anyone forgotten something?" When no one objected, Kako started the vehicle, drove away from Mashiro's house, and headed off to the Sorashido train station.

At Mashiro's suggestion, Kako takes the scenic route on the cliff where they spot on their left an assortment of colorful flowers, tall trees, and more flora decorating a green field like paint on a canvas. To the right, a crystal blue ocean below them is like an endless blanket that spreads far into the distance. Salty sea waves form occasionally as they begin as small bumps before gradually growing into monstrous mouth-like waves and crashing down into explosions of white sea foam. Above the ocean sits a light blue sky with small white clouds that matches perfectly with the deep blue water, creating a merged, magical blue world.

Inspired by the beautiful scenery on both sides, Mashiro takes several pictures with her phone, intending to draw them on the train. Ageha also decided to snap photos of the ocean and plants, including herself, Mashiro, Sora, Kako, and Tsubasa (although the camera-shy boy ducked every time the camera faced him). 25 minutes later, Ageha's car reaches the Sorashido train station. Quickly, the four exited Piyo-chan and pulled out their baggage from the back.

Ageha waved to the manager. "Bye, Kakko and Piyo-chan! Thanks for bringing us here! See you in Beika!" Mashiro, Sora, and Tsubasa thanked him and said goodbye as well.

"No problem!" Kako responded, leaning out the window. "Anything to assist the sister of the Saotome sisters. Well, I'm off to pick up Kaguya and Maria. Hope you have a safe journey!" With that, he drives away from the station, the car getting smaller into the distance.

Ageha checks the big clock at the top of the station, which reads 8:15. "Alright, we've got about 15 minutes to find our train. So everyone, join hands and form a line behind."

"No way!" Tsubasa protests. "Ageha-san, it's embarrassing! If we do that, people will see us as little kids."

Ageha waves her hand. "So what? Let them think you're a bunch of preschoolers. It's safer and more fun this way." She offers Tsubasa her free hand, waiting for him to take it.

"I'm fine with that," said Sora. "We're a team, so we ought to stick together."

"Same here," Mashiro adds. "If we hold hands, we won't easily get separated."

"Seriously?" Normally, Tsubasa would've kept on arguing, but time was slipping away like water through a strainer. Seeing no way out, he shyly holds onto Ageha's hand.

"Atta boy!" cheered Ageha. Because Ageha and Mashiro both carry a suitcase, Ageha positions herself in the front and Mashiro stays in the far back, leaving Tsubasa behind Ageha and Sora in between him and Mashiro.

Once everyone linked hands, Ageha announced, "On the count of three, walk as fast as you can and don't let go. Ready? One… two… three!"

Ageha takes off, towing along the three teenagers. Once inside, Sora and Tsubasa look around the building with amazement, given their first time at a train station. Flocks of people with suitcases and/or bags walk or hurry back and forth as they scramble to find and catch up to their train in time. Hanging above their heads was a departure board with train platform numbers, times, and destinations, as well as platform signs, that lead them to the right trains. While the two admired their surroundings, Ageha checked the departure board which platform number she and her friends needed to find. After discovering their number to be 20, she quickly guided Tsubasa, Sora, and Mashiro to their train.

An excited but serious Ageha looked carefully at each platform sign they whiz by while making sure not to bump into objects or other people. Stumbling and out of breath, Mashiro and Tsubasa struggled to catch up with Sora and Ageha. Still, with their friends' encouragement, Mashiro and Tsubasa pressed on and eventually managed to keep up with their pace. Finally, Ageha caught sight of platform number 20 and steered the group toward the Keihin–Tōhoku Line, just as a white train with two blue streaks reached the station. The four friends release hands, so each of them can insert their train tickets in the turnstiles. They soon hurried to the first train car and reached it in time before the doors closed. Once all the passengers are on board, the train begins riding off to its destination.
