Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: A New Life Begins

When Harris Wells opened his eyes for the first time in this world, he did not cry.

He didn't scream or wail like a normal newborn. Instead, his silver eyes blinked quietly, observing the world around him with eerie calm like he already knew it.

But Harris Wells was not truly a baby.

Not inside.

He was a reincarnator, a soul from another universe, one with no magic and far more technology, thrust into the wizarding world through fate, or perhaps something far stranger.

He didn't know how or why it happened. He didn't even remember who he used to be. Not yet. The only thing he knew for sure was this:

He had been born again.

Wrapped in a warm blanket, with a strange symbol stitched into its edge a circle within a triangle, surrounded by ancient runes, he was left at the edge of a small village named Elderfield, just beyond the reach of most magical maps.

He was found beside an old stone well, quiet, healthy, and watching the sky.

The kind couple who discovered him took him in and gave him a name:

Harris, after the woman's grandfather.

Wells, after the place he was found.

To them, he was a miracle, a child who barely cried, who never fussed too much, who looked into your eyes like he understood more than a baby should.

But to the world?

He was a mystery.

From the very start, strange things followed Harris.

He never got hurt, even when he tumbled off chairs or stepped too close to the fireplace. Flowers bloomed where he crawled in the garden. Pets adored him, and storms avoided the village on his birthdays.

But Harris wasn't aware of any of it.

Not fully.

He lived his early childhood unaware of who he truly was, the memories of his past life locked away, sealed like a door waiting for the right key. He felt... different sometimes. A little too aware. A little too curious. Like his mind was always searching for something it couldn't quite name.

He didn't know yet that he was living in a magical world.

He didn't know yet that one day he would change everything.

All he knew was that he wasn't normal.

And that something, something big was waiting for him.

Waiting to awaken.
