Chapter 1 - Prolouge: The Return, of the Fallen.

Prologue: The Return, of the Fallen.

 Dimensional distorting crackling sounds.

A dark winged figure let out a painful roar, as it is being imprisoned into a space-time fabric.

As another one spoke, their face not yet visible but they wore an ethereal clothing and had a pair of graceful white wing. "I, made a mistake while creating you it seems."

"Your power is sure worrisome, if it even managed to stay unnoticed by our Omnipotence."

"If not for your power to overcome my ability to rewrite you, things could had been different."

As soon as those words left that being's mouth. The winged-beast is thrown into the fabric of space-time and sealed there.

"… Just what mistake, had I made that he even managed to get past our Omnipotence and stay unnoticed?"

Some millennia later after the incident.

Soft footsteps echoing on cobblestone

A woman walking in the open streets of a Nation. Her skin almost pale as white as her long silvery-white hair flowed. Her attire an elegant, dark gown with an ornate lace around her chest area. Her dress adorned with sharp star-shaped ornaments, especially on her sleeves and shoulder giving her a fierce and celestial appearance. Spiked elements extended from her back with the finishing touch of black heels for her footwear. Her entire figure shined almost as bright as the stars.

[Aetherion. A world of wonders, yet a realm where survival of the fittest reigns supreme. Here, strength determines fate, but intellect and cunning can turn the tides in ways mere power cannot.]

[A land divided into six great nations, each bearing the name of an Astral Sovereign, the gods who shaped our reality.]

[And I, Lunaria Caelren, am a citizen of Zephyria, the nation blessed under the name of Zephyros, the Ethereal Sovereign.]

[The entire world of Aetherion, consists of Mana and every type of race and species.]

[A peaceful day, or so it seemed...]

Distant cries pierce the air

"Help us! There's an Annihilot here!" A woman's scream shattered the serenity.

[Annihilots are beings made through the void itself. Their power is far beyond measurability as they grow stronger the, stronger their master grows.]

Panic spread like wildfire as people scrambled for shelter, their terror palpable.

I looked at the Annihilot taking a picture of its appearance in my mind.

It's face was completely covered in a black-hole like structure only the size of a head. It's entire skin, nothing but abyssal-black and purple in color with a void-like spear in place of its right arm.

Deep, guttural growl—The Annihilot's unnatural roar reverberates

I wasted no time. My hands moved instinctively, summoning a frost dagger.

"Stay down!" I commanded, positioning myself between the beast and the citizens.

The creature lunged forward; it charged an attack of Void like energy out of its chest ready to attack.

Crackling void energy—building for an attack

I threw the frost dagger at its chest, momentarily disturbing its focus for a split second.

I moved in a flash. The moment of weakness was all I needed.

I lunged and got a hold of the handle of the dagger and…

A single, precise slash.

Blade cutting through flesh—sickening crunch

The creature let out one last, guttural howl before its form collapsed, dissolving into nothingness.

A heavy silence followed.

"Thank you, Lady Lunaria!" The shaken citizens gathered, gratitude washing over their expressions.

I exhaled, releasing the tension in my shoulders. "Is everyone alright?" My gaze scanned the group.

"Yes, all thanks to you!" the woman from earlier answered, bowing slightly.

Something about this attack was off.

"Say," I turned to the woman, "how did an Annihilot get into, Zephyria?"

She shook her head, still rattled. "I don't know... One moment, everything was normal, then a wormhole just appeared in the sky—and that thing came out of it."

My heart sank. As I thought. That shouldn't be possible… Not unless—. Before, I was interrupted by a strange uncholeric sound

Distorted reality—space-time crack forming in the sky

The air trembled. A fissure, deep and vast, split the sky. From within the rift, an overwhelming presence seeped out, oppressive and chilling.

A dark-winged figure emerged. Its body encased in elaborate, jagged armor that appears to be forged from the shadows themselves. The chest glowing with a faint light at the core, suggestion some malevolent force. Its head crowned with horn-like protrusions. Its wings monstrous-twisted, torn, and massive radiating an aura of corruption.

A voice, ancient and filled with contempt, echoed through the air. "I have finally arrived... Again."

The ground trembled beneath his mere presence. More rifts began tearing open, each birthing more of those grotesque creatures.

My breath hitched. "What the…? This power… What even are you?!"

Then he looked at me.

As he sensed my energy, realizing my strength.

Such energy? She seems strong for a human. I must get rid of her quick. The figure, thought in its mind.

Before, I could react he attacked.

As a dark energy beam erupted from his hand, searing through the very fabric of space.

I reacted instinctively, summoning an ice wall to block it. But the sheer force of the attack shattered it instantly. A shockwave blasted through the air, sending me skidding backward, my arm burning from the residual energy.

"Gah—!" Pain pulsed through my body.

That power… It's far beyond anything I've faced before… I thought. As I struggled to regain balance, realization struck me like a thunderbolt.

The unnatural aura, the command over Annihilots, the pure, unfiltered abyssal energy for a being.

There was only one being in existence who fit that description.

The Primordial of Annihilation. Vaelthar

A failed creation—one of the thirteen Primordial Titans forged by Zephyros himself.

And now, he stood before me, brimming with hatred and destruction. Yet, it did not feel like his own.
