A long time ago, there lived an old couple in the mountains. They were happy together. The husband was a farmer, and the wife was a milkmaid. But then one day, the farmer's wife was struck by a deadly illness. The farmer had consulted every healer, doctor, and shaman, but none prevailed to cure the farmer's wife. The farmer then prayed to the heavens for a miracle to happen. The heavens had sent angels after angels, but none succeeded in aiding the farmer's wife back to perfect health. There was a witch who introduced herself as a Witch of Pacts. The Witch of Pacts wore a purple dress and possessed beautiful purple eyes with her long and brown hair. She promised the farmer that she would heal her back to health if the farmer completed the task the witch had demanded. She needed three ingredients: a dragon's horn, a siren's hair, and a werewolf's tooth.
The farmer journeyed through the dense jungle and was met by a dragon. The dragon had a toothache, and the farmer used a remedy to remove the pain. The dragon thanked the farmer and gave a piece of its horn to the farmer. The farmer then voyaged to the deep seas and was met with a siren that had its leg caught in a net. The farmer removed the net from the siren. The siren thanked the farmer and gave him a piece of its hair. The farmer then trotted to the werewolves' territory and was met by the alpha wolf. They chit-chat for a moment, and the alpha understood the farmer's situation and gave a tooth to the farmer.
The farmer returned to the witch and gave all three ingredients she needed. From it, she crafted a powerful potion capable of healing any disease. She gave the farmer the cure for his wife. He gave it to her, and she returned to her perfectly healthy state. The farmer thanked the witch. The Witch then used her powerful magic to give the farmer a magical power. The power of healing any disease. But there's a catch: every time he healed a person, a part of his soul would be ripped.
Years passed by, and the farmer healed every ill person in the village. But then the other village turned on the farmer and suspected him of witchcraft. They cut off his hands and burned him alive at the stake. The Witch of Pacts kept the hands and didn't revive the farmer as his soul was ripped into thousands of pieces scattered across the universe. The farmer's wife died of grief over the loss of her husband.
