Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: A Tragic Turn — Hanasia Has Fallen!

In the middle of the endless ocean, on a remote, uninhabited island...

Under the scorching sun, Lynx stood with both arms raised, lifting a massive boulder that easily weighed dozens of tons.

Suddenly, he tossed it high into the sky, then brought his palms together. A deep blue glow began to radiate between them.

"Ka… me… ha…"

Before he could finish the last syllable, Lynx's figure suddenly vanished. In the next instant, he appeared mid-air, parallel with the soaring rock.

"…me… HA!"

The final shout rang out, and a deep blue energy wave surged forth from his hands, swallowing the boulder whole in an instant.

The wave, streaking across the sky, reflected in the eyes of Master Roshi and the two sisters below.

Seeing a Kamehameha beam many times thicker than his own max-powered version, Roshi's nose began to drip again.

Meanwhile, Tights and Bulma—each with a turtle shell on her back—cheered with excitement.

"Big bro Lynx, you're amazing!!"

Floating in the sky, Lynx observed the aftermath of his technique and smiled, satisfied.

As expected of a system-rewarded ultimate move—this Instant Transmission Kamehameha combined Roshi's devastating Kamehameha with instantaneous movement. It didn't just deliver a blast beyond normal limits—it had flexibility far beyond the Kaioshin-style Instant Transmission he had learned earlier.

The version from Kibito was designed for long-distance galactic travel, not combat. It was too slow in a real fight unless you drastically overpowered your opponent.

But this version was different. This battle-ready Instant Transmission allowed the user to warp anywhere within their line of sight, making it an ideal tool for counterattacks and surprise strikes.

Back on the ground, Lynx smiled at Master Roshi. "So, Master Roshi, how was that Kamehameha just now?"

Roshi sighed, nose still running. "Lynx, I told you there's nothing more I can teach you—and you still didn't believe me!"

In the blink of an eye, a month had passed.

Over that time, Lynx had managed to "coax" Roshi into demonstrating every technique he knew—Kamehameha, Afterimage Technique, and more—then learned them all through his Beginner Martial Arts Genius trait.

With his goals accomplished, Lynx had little reason to stick around. Tights and Bulma, on the other hand, had only just begun their training.

But for Lynx, time was precious. Staying here any longer would be a waste.

Just as he was considering whether it was time to visit King Kai, a signal suddenly came through on his scouter.

The original Saiyan scouters had a built-in communication function far more advanced than Earth's tech. They could maintain real-time communication even across tens of thousands of light-years.

Bulma had copied this feature into her upgraded models.

Now, the incoming signal on Lynx's device was from Planet Vegeta.

Most of the hundred upgraded scouters Bulma had made were handed over to King Vegeta's forces. As more Saiyans broke past the 30,000 power level threshold, Frieza's old scouters had become useless. Bulma's devices filled the gap perfectly and were issued to the peacekeeping squads operating under the Galactic Patrol.

Beep!

Lynx accepted the call. "King Vegeta? What's going on?"

"Your Majesty," came the urgent voice. "We've just received a communication from the Galactic Patrol. They say Queen Hanasia's unit might be walking into an ambush—Frieza's forces may be involved!"

"Frieza? So he's finally making a move…" Lynx narrowed his eyes.

Since the formation of the Saiyan peacekeeping forces under the Galactic King, their clashes with Frieza's army had become increasingly frequent.

Frieza's empire—once unrivaled in the universe—had long been a threat that even the Galactic Patrol could barely contain. Despite countless planetary invasions and cultural genocides, the Patrol had always been powerless.

But now, with the Saiyan forces on their side, the tide had turned.

Half the missions assigned to Planet Vegeta's warriors now involved confronting Frieza's army. From thwarting invasions to liberating occupied worlds, they had already fought Frieza's men over a dozen times.

It was through these operations that the truth finally surfaced:

Frieza didn't die.

Back during Lynx's battle in Planet Vegeta's orbit, Frieza had been defeated—but not killed. His father, King Cold, had him rescued by elite agents.

Due to his critical injuries, Frieza had been comatose for years.

King Cold, in a desperate bid to restore his son, had reformed the Cold Force and sent them scouring the universe in search of technologies that could revive Frieza.

And now… it was said that Frieza had fully recovered—both in body and in power.

Upon hearing this, Lynx had given Bardock strict orders: from now on, Queen Hanasia—the only Saiyan currently capable of transforming into a Super Saiyan—must personally oversee every mission.

Though the Saiyan race had become far stronger than before, only Hanasia could stand toe-to-toe with Frieza in battle.

Still…

Lynx remembered reading power-level analyses in Dragon Ball's lore—Frieza's true maximum power was over 100 million, while Hanasia, even as a Super Saiyan, barely surpassed 10 million.

It was enough to make him worry.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, Lynx quickly informed Master Roshi, then vanished—Instant Transmission activating as he warped straight to Planet Vegeta.

Upon arrival, the situation was worse than he'd imagined.

Inside the Saiyan command center, King Vegeta was visibly shaken.

"What happened?!" Lynx asked sharply.

"It's Queen Hanasia and the warriors she deployed with," King Vegeta said grimly. "They're completely out of contact. We're still trying to confirm the situation with the Galactic Patrol…"

He paused, his voice heavy.

"…but there's a very real chance they've all been killed by Frieza."

Hanasia… is dead?
