Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: The Man Who Name Ray

For two centuries, time has moved forward. But in the quiet village of Harlorn, one man has remained the same."

---

The morning sun peeked over the mist-covered mountains. Birds chirped. The wind danced lazily across the village of Harlorn, nestled deep in the forested countryside, untouched by war, magic, or the noise of kingdoms.

A young man stepped outside his small wooden house near the cliffside.

White hair gently swayed with the breeze. His eyes were soft, almost sleepy—his presence utterly unremarkable.

His name was Ray.

He looked twenty. But he hadn't aged in two hundred years.

"Still quiet, huh…" Ray muttered, looking at the horizon. "Good."

He wore a worn-out blue hoodie, simple grey pants, and black boots. To the world, he was just a peaceful recluse.

But this was no ordinary man.

And this was no ordinary house.

---

"Old Man Ray!"

A young boy waved from the village gate.

Ray sighed. "I'm only twenty."

"You've been twenty since my great-grandfather's time!"

Rumors had always surrounded the strange man who lived on the mountain edge.

Some said he was cursed. Others said he was just a weakling with good genes.

No one dared to approach him too closely—not because of fear, but because nothing ever happened around him. Not even monsters.

To the villagers, he was harmless. Forgotten. A background character in their peaceful world.

---

The sky had split open.

A body fell from the stars, crashing deep into the forest near what would become Harlorn.

He had no memories of his original world. Only a burning screen burned into his vision.

He had no skills. No strength. No name.

But over the next decades, he would walk through empires, climb mountains, slay tyrants, and challenge the Divine Thrones.

He learned forbidden magic from ancient liches.

Fought side by side with dragons.

Killed demon lords, tamed spirit beasts, and stood atop battlefields soaked in the blood of legends.

But all of it...

Was forgotten.

Because Ray erased it himself.

He gave up fame, power, and glory—choosing instead to live quietly on the edge of the world.

---

Villagers called it "Ray's Shack."

But inside...

The floor tiles were made from Starsteel, a material that repelled divine detection.

The tea kettle on his stove? The Cauldron of Aeons, capable of refining god-tier potions.

His doormat? A sleeping Heavenly Beast, sealed in mundane form, guarding the entrance.

And the house itself? A World-Class Artifact once used to protect an entire empire.

Buried beneath it was a core shield engine, pulsing with ethereal runes—capable of withstanding a god's fury.

But no one ever tried to enter.

Because the one rule in the village was:

Never enter Ray's house.

---

Ray returned to his porch, sipping tea.

Above, a distant god's eye shimmered through the clouds.

He looked up lazily and muttered:

"Keep watching if you like… but don't send your toys again."

The sky trembled… and then stilled.

---

In the village of Harlorn, a peaceful man lived alone.

No one knew he was the one who once brought calamity to the heavens,

…and walked away.
