Eleven Years Later
In the dead of night, a girl was speeding down the road. Her name was Noah—a doctor by profession. She was on her way home after finishing her shift.
While driving, she glanced at her phone. It was almost midnight—12:00 AM. She accelerated, trying to reach home faster.
Suddenly, something appeared in front of the car. She lost control—the vehicle crashed straight into a tree.
In seconds, the car burst into flames, and Noah was engulfed in the inferno.
Silence...
Darkness...
For a moment, everything faded into nothing.
Then—
Noah slowly regained consciousness. She opened her eyes to a blur of flickering light. Her head throbbed with pain. With great effort, she reached for her phone. 3:00 AM.
A sharp sting pierced through her skull. She slowly got out of the car.
That's when she saw it—a car speeding straight toward her.
She raised her hand to stop it, but it didn't slow down. Instead, it drove past her, then suddenly turned around and came back.
A man rolled down the window and said, "Get in."
Noah hesitated, but the pain in her head was too much to bear. Reluctantly, she got in.
The man asked, "Where do you live?"
Noah struggled to reply, "My head... hurts..."
Suddenly, the man stopped the car—and tried to do something horrible. Noah had already blacked out. She couldn't resist.
But in that very moment, a deep, chilling voice echoed from the back seat:
"How are you doing?"
The man froze in terror. Sweat trickled down his face.
Beside Noah's still face, a heavy silence descended.
Shaking, the man turned back and asked,
"W-Who are you?"
A shadowy figure leaned forward—eyes glowing red, voice icy as death:
"I'm your friend… Kevin."
The man panicked. He flung the door open and ran into the night.
Down the empty road, he ran like a man chased by fate. He stopped after a while, panting—only to find Kevin standing right in front of him.
Smiling.
"You can't run."
"What do you want? Please… let me go!"
Kevin held out a piece of old, burnt paper—a contract.
"Sign this."
Without a second's delay, the man signed with trembling hands. The paper burst into flames, turning to ashes.
Kevin whispered, "The deal is done. From now on… you're mine."
Next:
Noah suddenly opened her eyes. The car was empty. Her head spun—but there was no sign of injury.
She realized—nothing had happened.
She slowly reached for the car door.Just as she was about to step out—a hand touched her from behind.
Startled, she turned her head.
There sat a young man.
"You're awake," he said.
Noah stared and asked,"Who are you?"
"I'm Kevin," he said softly."I came to help."
Kevin offered to drop her home.Noah gave him the address.
On the way, her eyes caught something near the tree…She thought she saw something odd, but didn't pay attention.
(What she didn't notice :A dead body was hanging from the tree.)
Kevin dropped her off at home. The sun was just starting to rise.
"Come inside," Noah offered.
But Kevin replied, "Not today. Another time."
And with that, he disappeared into the dawn.
Inside, her brother Yan was asleep. She went straight to bed.
Meanwhile—
Kevin walked up to the hanging corpse. With a mere glance, the body burst into ashes.
Laughing softly, Kevin said: "After 150 years, I finally tasted joy again."
Backstory:
150 years ago, Kevin was cursed. To break the curse and regain his full power,he had to form 10,000 pacts with evil men. Each signature brought him closer to immortality.
Today, with that last man,Kevin completed his 9,999th contract.Only one remains.
Elsewhere…
A mountain cave drowned in darkness.Suddenly, the wind stirred—Shadows gathered around a black stone.
The shadows slowly took form.A man.
His body was like mist, eyes pitch black, face marked with burnt scars, voice deep as a storm.
It was Van.
He took a breath—as if waking from centuries of slumber.
"This body… it's not mine," he murmured."Only ten percent... Just a shadow."
He stepped closer to the stone.
"You are my prison… but not for long."
His voice brimmed with rage and vengeance.
"If I find the blood... I will return in full. And then—nothing in this world can stop me."
Van looked toward the wind—as if sensing a presence.
"Yan…you don't know it yet,but you are the key…"
He smiled faintly, then dissolved into the shadows.....
