Chapter 34 - Chapter 32: The Cathedral Bleeds

You don't storm a throne. You get buried beneath it.

---

3:03 A.M.

Montenegro – Black Cathedral Perimeter

Naomi's squad fans out.

Twelve soldiers.

Silencers locked.

Drones disabled.

Entry secured.

> "We go quiet," Naomi orders.

"He dies tonight."

They breach through the west wall.

They don't know the cathedral is listening.

They don't know Silas let them in.

---

3:11 A.M.

Inside the Cathedral – First Kill

The first man drops in silence.

His throat — slit clean.

Body — dragged into the dark.

They don't see it happen.

They only hear:

> Click. Clink. Click.

The sound of boots on broken glass.

Then another dies.

Gun turned against him.

Pulled into the rafters.

3:17 A.M.

Naomi Signals Extraction — But It's Already Too Late

Only five left.

Blood slicks the altar steps.

Their comms are scrambled.

GPS looping endlessly.

A voice echoes:

> "You walked into a place of worship, Naomi."

"Time to confess."

One agent screams, "IT'S HIM!"

And the pews explode.

Steel shards tear into flesh.

Bodies fly. Two more down.

3:21 A.M.

Hall of Echoes – The Final Stand

Naomi and two remaining agents.

Bleeding. Out of ammo.

They stand back to back.

> "You still have the detonator?" Naomi asks.

> "Yeah. If I go down—"

> "You won't."

But he does.

His head blown open from behind —

Silas stands above the body, eyes glowing gold in the red emergency lights.

He says nothing.

Just tilts his head.

And throws the final agent through a stained glass window.

3:24 A.M.

Naomi vs Silas — Alone in the Chapel

She opens fire.

Every bullet aimed to kill.

Silas doesn't dodge.

He walks through the storm.

Bullets pierce the armor.

He bleeds.

But he doesn't fall.

He grabs her by the throat.

Lifts her off the ground.

> "You came here thinking pain makes you strong," he whispers.

"But pain makes you mine."

He slams her to the stone floor.

Her gun skids out of reach.

She claws at him — but he kneels on her chest.

Overwhelming. Heavy. Inevitable.

> "The world follows survivors. Not corpses."

"So I'll make you survive."

---

3:28 A.M.

The Carving

Naomi can barely breathe.

Barely move.

Silas pulls out a long knife.

He doesn't stab her.

He carves — slowly — into her stomach.

Letter by letter.

> H

O

L

L

O

W

She screams.

Bites her lip.

Passes out.

3:35 A.M.

Naomi Awakens – Alone, In Blood

Everyone is dead.

The cathedral is silent.

Her stomach wrapped crudely in gauze.

She stumbles up. Finds a mirror.

Unwraps it.

Sees the word.

HOLLOW

Fresh. Deep. Forever.

On the wall, written in blood:

> "You can't kill a god.

But I can turn you into my prayer."

---

Final Scene

Silas stands on the roof of the cathedral.

Looking out across Europe.

He whispers:

> "They'll see her scars."

"They'll ask what I did."

"And when she speaks... my gospel will spread from her lips."

He smiles.

> "Now I go global."

---

Final Line:

> "You thought I wanted worship," Silas murmurs,

"but all I ever needed was a messenger covered in my name."
