When the ship crashed into the ground, the impact was so powerful that it created a shock wave, forcing Ruby, Weiss, Krillin, Gohan, and Piccolo to take cover to avoid being caught in the storm of dust and rocks created by the landing.
On the contrary, Vegeta and Nappa remained where they were, unperturbed by the shock wave.
When the storm created by the landing subsided, the group of five came out of their shelters to take a closer look at what had just happened.
A giant crater had appeared in the middle of the plain, and in the middle of it was a sphere-shaped spaceship. The ship seemed to have received quite a bit of damage from the landing and seemed unable to take off.
"What in hell was that?!" Weiss asked.
"I'm not too sure. At first I thought it was some kind of meteorite, but now that I see this strange device, I'm not so sure anymore..."
Krillin, Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, and Nappa all looked at the object with a serious expression.
"You...you're thinking the same thing as me...right?" Krillin asked his two comrades.
Gohan simply nodded, while Piccolo replied in a worried tone.
"Let's stay on our guard, we don't know who could come out of this thing."
"Do you see that, Vegeta?"
"Yeah..."
"Do you think it's..."
"Let's just wait and watch for now."
Without warning, the ship's door was ripped open by a force coming from within. The door flew through the air at full speed before crashing heavily against one of the many rock formations in the area, causing it to collapse.
Everyone was surprised by the sudden flight of the projectile, it was Gohan who redirected everyone's attention to the ship.
"LOOK! Someone's coming out!"
--------------------------------------------------
After kicking down the door with a well-aimed kick, the young Saiyan exited the ship to get a breath of fresh air after all the turbulence he had just experienced.
He felt like he was emerging from an endless whirlwind after several minutes. That damn wormhole had really turned him upside down, but he had to consider himself lucky to still be alive after that. Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for his ship; the damage it had suffered was much worse than he thought, which was why he ripped the door off because the command to open it was no longer responding.
*sigh*
He let out a deep sigh before turning his back on the wreckage of his ship and looking around. He realized that the impact of his ship on the ground had created a deep crater. He then effortlessly jumped, leaping several meters high to land outside the crater where he could clearly see where he was.
Before him was a desert landscape composed of endless rock formations.
'Hmm, not quite what I was hoping for, but I guess it'll do,' he said to himself.
His attention was then drawn to the group of five individuals a few meters away to his left. When their eyes met, three of them took a defensive stance as if ready to fight, while the other two seemed confused by the situation.
He then turned his head to the right and that's when he saw Vegeta and Nappa. When he saw them, his gaze widened.
"Are they..."
He looked them up and down, their appearance, the aura they gave off, their armor, and then he saw them, wrapped around their waists, their tails.
"No doubt about it...they're Saiyans...but what are they doing here?" he said with a displeased expression.
Vegeta and Nappa were also inspecting him.
"You see that, Vegeta? Another Saiyan!" I thought we were the last ones...."
"Yes, me too... that's what I find strange, how come there's still one left and we've never noticed?"
"Hmmm, that's true!"
Vegeta got up from his rock and began to walk towards the young Saiyan.
"Where are you going?" asked Nappa.
"Stay here, I won't be long."
Nappa complied while the young Saiyan watched Vegeta approaching him, a smirk on his face, which greatly annoyed him.
When Vegeta reached him, he was the first to speak.
"Well, well, I didn't expect to see another survivor here of all places!"
'A survivor?' thought the Saiyan.
"But where have my manners gone! My name is Vegeta, I'm an elite warrior, and the one you see in the distance over there is Nappa, also a warrior. What's your name?
The young Saiyan looked at Vegeta carefully before answering.
"My name is Ridlay."
"Well, Ridlay, since you're here, why don't you join us?" Between Saiyans, we can help each other!" Vegeta offered confidently.
Ridlay looked at Vegeta before looking at Nappa, who stared at him with a menacing smile.
"Sorry, but if I came to this planet, it wasn't to join you, quite the opposite!"
Vegata was surprised by his answer but remained calm.
"Well, I don't know why you came to this planet, but once Nappa and I have finished what we're here for, I don't think it'll be of much use to you!" he said, turning around and heading back to where he came from.
"What do you mean by that?" asked Rydlay.
*chuckles* "You'll just have to stick around and find out for yourself. I'm sure once you understand, you'll reconsider my offer."
Rydlay watched Vegeta walk away while trying to contain his Annoyance. He then turned back to the other group, who were still looking at him suspiciously.
*sigh*
He sighed once more before heading to a rock opposite the two groups, where he sat down. He had no immediate plans, so the only thing left to do was to see what Vegeta meant exactly.
---------------------------------------------------------------
"So he really is a Saiyan after all..." Piccolo said, grumbling.
"Yes, but he didn't seem to be with the other two..." Krillin pointed.
"Maybe, but we can't let our guard down. You know very well what Saiyans are capable of!"
"....yeah."
Suddenly, Krillin felt two small taps on his shoulder. He turned around and saw Ruby and Weiss.
"Sorry to interrupt, but would it be possible to explain what's going on?" Ruby asked.
"Oh, right, sorry, you must be completely lost with the current situation! Let me give you a rundown."
[2 hours later]
"So, to put it simply, we were transported somehow from our planet to yours, and now your planet's entire population, as well as us, is now at risk of being exterminated by those Saiyan guys because they want to sell your planet?" Weiss resumed.
"Yeah, that's more or less it."
Krillin confirmed.
*slap*
Weiss facepalmed herself at the absurd situation she and Ruby had ended up in.
"When I think we were just supposed to enter Beacon Academy... how did we end up like this?"
"We're really sorry you got caught up in all this..." Gohan said, trying to comfort Weiss as best he could.
"Yeah, that's true, we're really sorry," Krillin also affirmed, while Piccolo remained silent.
"Try to make your own friends, she said... not to find myself stuck in an apocalyptic scenario... plus there are aliens, real fucking aliens... wait... since we're not from this planet, doesn't that make us aliens too? Haaaa my head hurts from thinking about it!"
Ruby was sitting in a corner, muttering to herself.
"Is everything okay, Ruby?" asked Krillin, worried about the young girl.
*beep beep beep*
"Time's up!" Vegeta exclaimed.
Hearing this, the entire group turned towards the Saiyans and got into combat stances. Even Ruby and Weiss drew their weapons.
Rydlay, who had been sitting cross-legged on his rock with his eyes closed, opened them again at Vegeta's announcement.
"Three hours have passed and Kakarot still hasn't shown up. Now it's time to finish you off once and for all!"
"Finally! I thought I was going to die of boredom!" said Nappa, removing his chest armor, revealing his colossus-like muscles.
"Hurry up and finish them off. We've already wasted a lot of time."
"Don't worry, Vegeta, I'll do this quickly!"
"Guys, does anyone have a plan?" asked Krillin worriedly.
"I might have an idea, but we're going to have to work together to make it work!" said Piccolo.
"Okay, what is it?"
"As we know, their weakness is their tails. Krillin, I need you to distract him while I sneak up behind him and grab his tail, which will make him unable to fight. That's when Gohan will attack with all his might, understand?"
*both* "Understood!"
"What do we do?" Ruby asked.
"Well, this isn't your fight to begin with, so if you want to leave and take cover, we won't blame you," Krillin told them with a smile that barely concealed her fear.
"I may not be part of this world, but I'm still a huntress in the making... if I back away now, how will I be able to look at myself in a mirror?"
Hearing Ruby's words, Weiss had no choice but to speak out as well.
"I'm a Schnee, and a Schnee never backs down in the face of danger. My family's honor won't allow it!"
"Girls...you..."
Krillin couldn't help but be impressed by the courage of these two young girls in the face of such danger as the Saiyan warriors.
"Very well, stay back for now. We'll try our current plan. We'll probably need you for the second Saiyan!"
*both* "Roger that!"
"All right, let's go!"
Krillin began running at full speed toward Nappa, who was waiting for him. When he reached Nappa, he used an energy wave to propel himself off the ground, forcing the Saiyan to raise his head and follow him with his eyes.
"Now!"
Piccolo took advantage of Krillin's distraction to teleport behind Nappa and grab his tail, then squeezed with all his might.
"Now, Gohan!"
"Rhaaaaaa!!!!"
Gohan ran towards Nappa, ready to unleash his full strength.
"Hehehe, you idiots!"
Unable to react, Piccolo received a violent elbow from Nappa in the head, completely knocking him out, causing him to drop his tail. Seeing this, Gohan stopped dead in his tracks, frightened by the failure of their plan.
Krillin, who was still in the air, couldn't believe it either.
"Careful, hehe, you don't want to die, we still need to question you about those Dragon Balls!" said Nappa while holding Piccolo, who had lost consciousness after the blow he received. He then threw him at Gohan's feet, who rushed over to check on him.
"Mr. Piccolo! Wake up! I beg you, wake up!"
Ruby and Weis couldn't believe what had just happened; it all happened so quickly. The energy Krillin used, Piccolo's teleportation... and yet nothing worked against Nappa. Could the Saiyans be that powerful?
Ridlay, who had watched the whole scene, couldn't help but frown at what had just happened.
"So... it's really the end this time..." said Krillin, petrified with fear.
