SUMMARY . . .
‧₊˚. Clio just got out of a bad relationship. They've been exploited, berated, generally abused, and discarded. They're lucky to retain one connection with a human being that they somehow haven't managed to destroy in all their twenty-four years of life. If it weren't for their best friend, they'd be back on the street, or worse: forced to move back in with their older cousin. However, freeloading isn't entirely free; the price of a roof amounts to Clio's sanity. Sharing a home with Aster also means sharing a home with her younger brother, Orion: Clio's childhood crush.

SETTING . . .
‧₊˚. Hidden away in Appalachian holler. The property is nestled in the woods – the driveway is a 5-minute journey by car, while the nearest neighbor is a 20-minute drive. A cave-fed creek runs through the backyard, and the family owns cats and chickens. Aster occupies the master bedroom, leaving a room for Orion and Selini each, while Clio resides in the attic. The basement has been fashioned into Orion's studio.
