Chapter 1 - Two Kings

The desert wind whipped dust and rock fragments across the barren expanse of Tak'halar, where the sky seemed eternally grey. In the midst of this silent landscape stood two figures: Rio Morgan, draped in a four-color gradient robe, and Versail, his body sheathed in a shimmering layer of kinetic energy.

"I've long wanted to see those colors shattered," Versail murmured, drawing a deep breath. Tiny pulses like ripples on water began emanating from his body—a sign his kinesis was activating.

Rio offered only a faint smile. "And I've wondered how far a human can toy with the laws of physics."

With lightning speed, Versail initiated his assault. His hand rose, and with the technique Aero Displacement, he altered the air pressure around Rio, triggering a micro-explosion. But before the blast could reach him, Rio flicked his wrist. Crimson erupted from his body, forming a circular shield.

The explosion failed to penetrate the slowly pulsing red. This was Red Core Rejection—a core of red energy repelling anything that came near.

"Interesting," Versail said, eyes narrowing. "How about this?"

Three techniques launched simultaneously: Geo Pillars conjured stone spears from the earth, Pyro Threads scorched the air into whips of flame, and Aqua Lance formed a high-pressure water spear. All converged on Rio from three directions.

Rio leaped backward as azure exploded from the ground. Blue Core Attraction—a vortex point materialized before him. Versail's attacks were pulled toward the central nexus, colliding and annihilating each other.

"Clever," Versail praised, recalibrating his strategy. He chanted a condensed version of Time Kinesis, accelerating his perception of time until his movements appeared like teleportation.

Rio activated White.

A Void opened behind him, a formless hole. From it emerged six blades of light. "Void Creation: Light Arsenal."

The two combatants moved at extreme speeds. Versail attacked from the air, ground, and unexpected angles using gravity, sonic, and magnetic wave kinesis. Yet Rio countered everything with color combinations. The white light swords parried assaults, while azure vortices continually drew hazardous objects away from him.

But Versail was more than a powerhouse; he was a tactician.

Amidst the fray, he planted Kinesis Seal Points—energy-nullifying markers—in the earth around Rio. As Rio stepped on one, an unexpected attack erupted from below: Subspace Compression detonated, obliterating a ten-square-meter area.

Rio was thrown back. Blood trickled from his lip.

"A fine technique," he said, rising. For the first time, Black manifested.

The sky itself seemed to fade.

Black Core Erasure—this color reflected no light, emitted no energy. It simply erased. With one wave of his hand, five of Versail's kinesis points vanished as if they never existed.

Versail was forced back. He combined six techniques at once Cryo Shockwave, Photon Blades, Metallic Rain, Psy-Kinesis Walls, Vacuum Warp, and Solar Beam Projection. A cataclysmic fusion only he could unleash.

Rio drew a deep breath. Colors swirled around him: Red as protector, Blue as attractor, White as creator, Black as eraser.

He formed a Color Singularity.

"This… a combined technique?" Versail whispered.

From Rio's hand emerged a small orb, no larger than a marble. Inside, colors spiraled like a miniature galaxy.

Then he hurled it skyward.

Time paused for an instant.

The orb exploded—not with light, but with void and substance. This attack didn't destroy the world; it redefined reality around it. All of Versail's active kinesis techniques dissolved. The sky turned pure white. The air felt hollow.

Versail knelt. "What… is this?"

Rio approached him slowly.

"I didn't destroy you. But I forced all your energy into one color: grey. Unable to attract, repel, create, or erase. You are neutral."

Versail tried to rise, his body trembling. "You… monster of color…"

"Not a monster," Rio answered. "I simply understand that reality is flexible. And color is its language."

Suddenly, Versail's body shuddered. An energy detonated within him.

"Did you think I came unprepared?" he gasped.

With his last strength, Versail activated his secret technique: Kinesis Fusion Core—compressing all kinetic energy he'd ever unleashed into a single point within his body.

His form turned gold.

Rio instantly activated full Red Core Rejection. A crimson dome formed an absolute shield.

Versail hurled himself forward. The collision produced no explosion—instead, it created an instantaneous vacuum. The desert floor collapsed inward. A colossal crater formed.

In the silence, two bodies lay still.

Dust settled. Stillness.

Then, Rio's hand rose slowly. He sat up. His breath was ragged, but he lived. Versail's body, on the other side, remained motionless.

Rio stood and gazed at the sky.

"A hundred techniques… yet one understanding was enough to counter them all."

He walked away, leaving the crater as the silent witness to the battle between two absolute forces—Color and Kinesis.

And the world knew… no color is stronger than that which commands them all.
