Aanya's POV
The lecture dragged on, but Aanya couldn't concentrate. Not with him sitting this close. Not with her own heart being louder than the professor's voice.
She dared a quick glance toward him. He was scribbling something casually in his notebook, the corner of his mouth curled slightly.
Then he leaned slightly toward her, eyes still on the page.
"You always this quiet, or is it just me?" he said, barely above a whisper.
Her breath caught. She looked at him, startled.
He didn't turn.
But that smirk deepened—just a little.
She looked away quickly, cheeks warming.
She didn't know how to respond. And honestly, she wasn't sure if he expected her to.
But something fluttered inside her.
And it stayed there all day.
The lecture ended. Meher joined her again, and things moved on like nothing had happened.
By evening, Aanya ate a quiet dinner and went to bed early.
But sleep wasn't peaceful.
It was strange.
It came too fast.
And pulled her into something deep.
Aanya's Dream
She stood in a wide field under a velvet sky full of stars. The wind was soft. Everything felt like a memory she had forgotten.
And then she heard it.
A voice.
Gentle. Familiar.
"You already found me. I'm with you."
She turned—trying to find where it came from.
But all she saw was a silhouette.
A boy standing near the edge of the field, watching her.
He didn't come closer. But his presence was calm. Powerful. Protective.
Her soul recognized him… even if her eyes couldn't see clearly.
Her lips parted to call out.
But she woke up.
Heart pounding. Breath shaky.
Aarav's Dream
He was walking in a dream that felt too real.
Cool breeze. Moonlight. A voice behind him.
"You already found me. I'm with you."
He turned.
A girl stood at a distance, eyes glowing softly in the dark.
He couldn't see her face.
But he knew.
It was her.
The girl from class.
The one who didn't say much — but made his entire world feel quieter when she looked at him.
Morning
Both woke up restless. Changed.
Neither said a word.
But deep down, they both knew:
Something was starting.
Something that was never just a coincidence.
