Chapter 14 - Chapter 14: Welt's Entrance

[Siberian Tundra, five kilometers from Babylon Tower. The snow was still falling. Tesla and Einstein, wrapped in heavy winter coats, stood in the biting wind on the snowy plains, gazing at the distant tower. Dr. Einstein spoke calmly, "Our best spy has already infiltrated Babylon Tower..." Her tone was cool and revealed much. For instance, that their "best spy" was on the job, and now they just had to wait for intelligence. Or perhaps the spy could sneak 'that person' out, thus avoiding a direct conflict with Schicksal's forces. Welt also hoped for a peaceful resolution.

"Someone's coming," Welt Yang, who was standing under a pine tree, suddenly said. In his line of sight, a figure was stumbling towards them. As Welt approached, the audience finally saw clearly: the so-called spy was Patrick. The Patrick of today had none of her former spirit. Her right arm was gone, and the simple bandage wrapped around the stump was still seeping blood. Only with Welt's support could she barely remain standing.

"Thank you for your hard work.""I'm sorry, Sovereign... the mission was a failure..." Patrick's voice was weak, but she forced herself to report the situation to Welt. 'That person's' power had awakened and was still growing stronger. "Don't worry. I'll take it from here." Patrick was noncommittal in response to Welt's promise, only hoping that he would do his best to protect her friends in Schicksal.]

In the cinema at the premiere, Shab, trying not to disturb others, was frantically messaging Patrick in the branch group chat. "I never would have guessed, Patrick! You, with your honest face, turning out to be an Anti-Entropy spy." Shab had read the script, but that didn't stop her from teasing Patrick. "Slander! This is pure slander! I am completely loyal to Schicksal!" Patrick could only reply furiously on her phone. She also couldn't understand why Yàqīng would give her the character profile of an undercover agent. What if the Overseer misunderstood! Patrick was overthinking it. As it turned out, Otto didn't even remember who Patrick was when he saw this scene. It was only after Kallen reminded him that he recalled her.

[The scene switched. Sirin, completely drained of energy, sat slumped against a wall. Her face was weary, but she let out a hysterical laugh. She swayed as she got to her feet, wanting to absorb more energy from the Honkai reactor. "What... is this?" Sirin looked curiously at what looked like a mosquito with a purple glow hovering over her palm. She felt a strange sense of familiarity from this unknown creature. "You say... you'll help me lead them away?"

In front of the Honkai reactor, Theresa, who was standing guard, looked at the conspicuous bloodstains and the Snow Wolf squad insignia on the ground. A person beside her reported on the support personnel sent from HQ. Theresa didn't have a moment to feel down before a piercing alarm blared through the silent space. Amidst panicked voices and a rising, intense background score, Theresa made a swift decision. "Don't panic! Bring me my Judah—""I will hold them back!" Just as Theresa finished speaking, a communication signal cut in, followed by a roguish yet reassuring voice. "There's no need, Theresa. You just stay in the tower and command."

The scene cut to outside Babylon Tower. Facing a horde of tens of thousands of Honkai Beasts on the hill, Siegfried stood fearlessly with dual pistols. Behind him were the other two members of the Snow Wolf squad, Shab Niggurath and Salome Jokanaan. "Leave the Honkai Beasts to us."]

"Awesome!!!" Siegfried clenched his fist, so excited he almost jumped up. Sirin pouted. Cecilia just looked on helplessly. ...

"It's rigged, it's rigged! Siegfried, you bastard!!!" Theresa's tragic wail once again echoed through the dormitories of St. Freya Academy. "Stinky old dad, how dare he be so cool!!!" Kiana sobbed on Mei's shoulder.

[The camera showed Tesla's exasperated face. She sharply pointed out the stakes: Siegfried and his team were pinned down by the Honkai Beast horde, which would give 'that person' time to absorb energy. Her idea to order the Titan mechs to storm Babylon Tower was vetoed by Welt, who intended to have a proper talk with Siegfried.

Siegfried suddenly sensed something was wrong. The movements of the normally frenzied Honkai Beasts had slowed. He quickly ordered Shab, who was about to charge in and fight, to come back. "Is that... a human?!" Siegfried stared in shock at Welt floating in mid-air. Welt's eyes had turned crimson-purple. A black sphere in his hand was emitting black and red lightning-like beams as he looked down arrogantly at the three people and the Honkai Beast horde below. "Kneel." At Welt's cold command, an invisible gravity washed over all living beings before him. Shab and Salome fell to their knees with a thud. Siegfried barely managed to stay on his feet.

"Vanish." Countless points of light emerged from the sphere in Welt's hand, transforming into black and red beams that shot straight into the Honkai Beast horde. With just this one attack, tens of thousands of Honkai Beasts were crushed into motes of light and dissipated into the air. Siegfried was utterly stunned.

"This person... I feel like I've seen him somewhere." Siegfried watched the man land before him warily. "That symbol on his belt... It's Anti-Entropy..." Welt stood with his hands in his pockets in front of two massive Titan mechs. "Members of Schicksal!""I am the Sovereign of Anti-Entropy, Welt Yang."

With Welt revealing his identity, Siegfried and his team became even more vigilant. Citing the hostile relationship between Schicksal and Anti-Entropy, as well as Welt's identity as the First Herrscher, Siegfried raised the Might of An-Utu. After a heated discussion, Siegfried ultimately agreed to cooperate with Welt.]

"Welt Yang is the Sovereign of Anti-Entropy? Isn't it Uncle Joyce?" Bronya was confused. Her guardian was a high-ranking executive in Anti-Entropy, so she knew a thing or two. The President of the Anti-Entropy Group had always been Welt Joyce. Welt Yang, as Joyce's younger brother, was only in charge of one of Anti-Entropy's subsidiary studios. "Aaaaaaah!" The duet of wails gave Bronya a headache. ...

"He's so cool." Even Welt Joyce himself couldn't help but sigh in admiration. Einstein's brow furrowed even deeper. She still couldn't figure it out. Welt Yang's eyes were shining. He was completely lost in the movie.
