Last night's dream was unlike any I've had before. Even now, as I sit down to write this entry, I feel as if I'm not entirely awake — as if part of me is still wandering in that other world, wrapped in its surreal beauty and overwhelming emotion. Have you ever had a dream that left your heart racing and your soul stirred, long after your eyes opened? That's exactly how I feel now.
It began in the heart of a vast, ancient forest — a place that didn't seem to belong to this world. The trees towered above me, their trunks thick and weathered like wise old guardians. Their leaves shimmered with a soft, silvery hue as if kissed by moonlight, even though the sky above was a dreamy twilight.
The fruits hanging from the branches were enormous — each one the size of a small child, glowing faintly in hues of gold, deep red, and amber. I wandered alone, in awe of the wonder surrounding me, and yet I felt calm, as though the forest had embraced me.
Then, the serenity shattered.
A chilling scream echoed through the trees: "He's dead! Kill him! Kill him!"
I froze. My heart thundered in my chest. I turned around slowly, and what I saw sent a cold shiver through me. Creatures stood in the shadows — not animals, not quite human. Their forms were twisted, limbs elongated, and eyes glowing like embers. Some had faces like wolves, others like something far more unnamable. They stared at me with a hunger that made my blood run cold.
I stepped back in terror, unsure if they saw me — when suddenly, a hand caught mine.
Startled, I turned — and my breath caught in my throat.
He was the most beautiful boy I had ever seen.
Tall, lean, with tousled dark hair that fell just above his sharp green eyes. His features were sculpted, his presence magnetic. There was a calm intensity about him, the kind that made me forget my fear.
Without saying a word, he pulled me gently, urgently. We began to run.
Behind us, the monsters gave chase. Their growls echoed through the woods. Yet, despite the danger, I didn't feel afraid anymore. Not while his hand was in mine. His grip was firm but reassuring — like he'd protect me at all costs.
Then something surreal happened.
Our feet lifted from the ground.
We began to fly.
Soaring above the forest, we passed treetops and power lines. The wind caressed our faces. It was exhilarating, like freedom incarnate. I glanced sideways at him, his eyes were fixed ahead, determined, but when he looked at me, he smiled. That one smile made my heart skip.
But our flight didn't last long.
A sharp crack split the sky — lightning. It struck close. A brilliant flash blinded me. And when I blinked, he was gone.
I screamed.
I fell, crashing hard onto the earth, the impact knocking the breath from my lungs. I was alone again. Panic surged as I heard the howls draw closer.
I scrambled to my feet and ran. My mind raced. Where was he? Who was he?
A river flowed nearby, wild and wide. Desperate, I thought of crossing it to escape. But the moment I stepped in, lightning struck again, straight into the water. The entire river lit up, crackling with danger.
I gasped and fell back.
I was trapped.
Just when I thought it was over , he returned.
Arms wrapped around me, lifting me from the ground. We flew again, this time higher, faster. I clung to him, trembling. His heart pounded under my cheek, strong and steady.
He brought me to a house in the clouds, vast, ethereal, glowing from within like a sacred place. The doors opened on their own as we landed inside.
He set me down gently, and for the first time, I truly saw him.
He wasn't just beautiful, he was otherworldly. His green eyes were flecked with gold, glowing softly. His skin was warm, flawless. And his presence… it made me forget the monsters, the fear, even myself.
We stood in silence, surrounded by soft light. My heart beat louder in my chest.
He stepped closer.
His gaze searched mine, like he was looking for permission, for understanding. Slowly, his hand slid around my waist, drawing me closer. My breath caught. My skin tingled where he touched.
And then, he kissed me.
Softly, gently, like a whisper.
His lips brushed against mine, hesitant at first, then deeper. His other hand cupped my face, thumb grazing my cheek. I had never been kissed before, but somehow, my body knew what to do. My hands wrapped around his neck, and I kissed him back.
The world faded.
There was only the two of us, heartbeats syncing, breaths mixing. I could taste him, warm, sweet, like something forbidden. We kissed like we were made for this moment, like the universe had written it in stars.
And then, voices.
"How dare you bring her here!"
A thunderous shout ripped through the room. The warmth disappeared. The light dimmed.
"She doesn't belong here. She must be punished!"
In the blink of an eye, the house vanished. I found myself standing on the edge of a cliff, cold wind whipping my hair.
I was crying, pleading. "I didn't do anything wrong! Why are you punishing me?"
Then someone pushed me.
I fell.
The air tore past me. Rocks waited below. I screamed. My heart broke. It felt like the end.
But just before I hit — arms again. Someone caught me.
We flew one last time, and I felt safe again.
Then — I woke up.
The clock read 3:33 AM.
I sat up, breathless, sweating. My lips still tingled. My heart ached. I had never kissed anyone before — not in reality. But this… this dream kiss felt so real. Too real.
Even now, hours later, I still feel his warmth. His eyes. That unspoken promise.
I don't know who he was.
But I hope to see him again.
