CHAPTER 15
Bob smiled as he entered the room seeing Freya and Sarah. It had been a long time since he saw them. He smiled and hugged them slightly, nodded to James and Bianca and sat down. He poured himself a glass of rose-wine and drank it directly. He had spent these few months learning for the exam, talking about deals with other company executives, discussing the direction of his company with aura managers (aura people who were used as managers), kept infusing aura into the plants and animals.
He had got another aura ring, making his aura ring to 5. He had got the feature named enslaving which allowed him to enslave a being as long as he fed them aura and their will did not reject it. This enslavement, once successfully used to enslave any living being, would directly enslave any and all descendants of the slave. So when he had enslaves all plants under him, his plan to just growing one time crops that will die after harvesting so that even if the government turns against him or if he has to turn the table and he no longer could keep his company, they would not be able to take advantage of the plants he had developed further. If it was some kind of plant such as an apple tree, even if aura would only create best quality apples, the tree still would develop further such that even if he stops feeding the tree aura, the tree would surely grow apples with better quality that the previous apple tree as long as fertilizers were fed.
But now with the enslavement, he could simply command all trees he had fed and enslaved to stop producing such trees if the land is taken away. But the only way he can think of when the land is taken away is when someone in the system breaks the rule of the system to deal with him and he will destroy the system. He would be given rights and powers and he might simply leave this nation then to go to a better nation as a player there or a weaker nation as the absolute king there.
He had tried to enslave animals and most animals he had fed aura were indeed enslaves as they like him who fed them. But he had found that he could not enslave wild animals who had wildness and wanted to attack him when he approached them. He also faced similar resistance when he saw tried to enslave the pigs he had granted tremendous pain as he let his aura people cut off meat from their body while they were alive and kept healing the pigs within a second and had failed.
As for enslaving humans, it should be possible as he could simply show his power and say that he would provide them power as long as they bow down to him and allow him to put a seal on their body. Any resistance would be removed as they might think that it was not enslavement but marking the body. But he planned to not do so as enslavement was not something he wanted. Even if he could not enslave the whole world, he could enslave many and then let them reach the limit body by using aura to feed their body and letting them be leaders in all of their fields. Even if he cannot rule the world, ruling a nation and turning it into the strongest nation would indeed be a good choice.
He smiled evilly. He had always thought about not enslaving others as he knew that his power is enough to defeat any nation by his pure strength. But having a lot of subordinates, having people work for him was something that he wanted. So he smiled as he planned to enslave others. But he kept in his mind to not make them do anything against their own will such as sleeping with women he had enslaved or letting them work for free. He shall pay them enough and more than the market price and he shall give them enough respect. None of his slaves shall be harmed or humiliated. The only reason he had not made a lot of subordinates who were super-humans was due to his trust issues. But now he who had been liberated from the ideological thoughts holding him back, he planned to start enslaving. He can make anyone reach the limit body. He will make aura people for them who are the best in the industry to train them. He will take over this world.
He knew that he was reaching the limit of getting a sixth ring sooner. But he had not reached that stage yet. So he did not care too much about it and lived in the present.
Seeing the evil smile of Bob, all present could feel a shudder as if they were targeted by some predator. Human senses were indeed curbed as the society was indeed safer to some extent. But this was not what curbed the development of senses, but the fact that people really believe that they will not be attacked by anyone or anything. But the sense are indeed present in the body in a dormant state. Bob targeted the world and his malice was not hidden now as he was in a familiar environment with his friends. With their shudder, to overcome the bad feelings they now had, they all drank a cup of wine simultaneously.
Bob smiled and asked, "Is there anything special Freya? Why have you called me?"
All of them had overcome the feeling of being targeted as Bob had kept his emotions in control and his emotions no longer emanated through aura. Freya, who had called him got angry and hit him with the pillow by the side, saying, "How dare you ask such a question? I heard you landed a deal worth 6 billion for your company. You did not call us for a party. You will pay for today's meal."
Bob smiiled and said, "Sure Goddess." Even though her words a bit commanding he did not care as she was his friend and she did have the right to decide whether he should pay for their dinner or not. Anyway, the total will only account to 2 million or so, counting the wines added.
He smiled at them knowing that they had underestimated him. The payment needed for workers was very low. He did not have to pay too much for the seeds as he planned to keep part of the harvest as seeds. Some acres of land produced more than 3 tons per acre and 3 tons was the minimum production. They have surely thought that on a 6 billion deal, he might have got 500 million or something and the rest has to be used as a liquidity for the company. The fact remains that he does not need such liquidity. For him, meat is practically costless. As for rice, that does cost a little for paying the farmers. Only the construction business, if he does take some orders would see a different kind of profit ration where he might not be able to use even 10% as personal money.
James seeing Bob was silent asked, "What are you plans? I heard that you bought 10,000 acres of land."
Bob smiled and said, "You should have understood by now that I have special methods to ensure that each land produces enough rice."
Bianca said, "Be careful while expanding. Fred is nothing more than a director of a branch here. Their head office has an annual turnover of 1.4 trillion."
James smiled and said, "He is the first in the national bureaucrats exam. He will surely get a new backing. Although each bureaucrat is kept in check to ensure that they do not misuse their power by the internal service, they also get adequate protection due to it."
Bob smiled and said, "You do not need to worry much. I am strong."
Bianca shook her head and said, "Although you are indeed strong, bring some bodyguards along with you. What if you are attakced by snipers? What if you are kidnapped? What if a crowd of common people is formed against you? You cannot attack them just because you are strong. When you became rich, you became a social figure, You need guards. Even James has guards following him when he goes outside now that he had taken over his family business."
Bob nodded and said, "I will hire some."
Sarah asked, "How about I be your bodyguard? I will be your lady-guard."
Bob asked, "Is there a profession named lady-guard."
All of them shook their head. Sarah smiled slyly and said, "Women will flock to you and you will surely have to attend social gatherings. I have learn enough etiquette and dances. I know about dresses and the latest topics that is common among the women of high society. You will need a female companion by your side. Someone who is just your friend. Someone who can keep other women away from you."
Bianca smiled and said, "While this idea is indeed good and it has been tried in informal manner, it is better not to employ her in that manner. Her reputation will be tied to you. What will happen when you both start to date the person who you love. Or do you want to experience a 20 episode melodramatic drama."
Bob shook his head and said, "That will not be needed as I am a man who is willing to say no to an advance. As long as you say no, no women will bother me."
All three women laughed for a long time. Bianca finally said, "You looked down on women too much Bob. Just like how you men can be perverts driven by your desire to stalk women for months and years, how you men are willing to wage war over a beauty, women are willing to do that too. It might be the money that attracted the women, but in your case, many women will surely be attracted by your potential, your handsome appearance and your strength. You have to understand that women too like appearance and beauty. It is not much a problem if women you are going to meet are ordinary women as they will only fight away the other women approaching you but as per your position, the women approaching you will be rich heiress and political heiresses. They do have the power to kill their competitors if needed. They have the power and will to exterminate the family of their enemies. Even if you are married, even if you are overprotective, there will be some women willing to kill her in hope of getting together with you."
Freya smiled and added, "And aren't you men always running behind beauty. What will you do when you wife enters middle-age and is not pretty anymore or when she is not pretty after giving birth. Either cases can cause an impact on the beauty of a women. Don't tell me you who has strength and power will not get together with a young girl."
Bob did have a slight tinge of fear. It was not the fear of facing women, it was the fear of image that was in the words of the three women present here. The image he had after hearing them was that of a horde of zombies running behind him. But unlike when facing with a horde of zombies, he could not kill the women approaching him as long as they do not attack him or these ones related to him and just courts him in a normal and social manner.
As for his women being less pretty, that was not his concern as just as how aura increased the lifespan by 10 times, it also ensured that the body remained in the optimal state which meant that all who has enough aura will die with a youthful body.
But hearing their words did make him slightly irritated after overcoming the image of women that was woven to him as he had returned to his rationale self. So what if he was handsomer than what a human brain could possess. Even the wild animals were friendly and clingy to him. They had only attacked him when he had tried to enslave them and then they left him as they had memory alongside their instinct asking them to come to him. He did not like how they spoke about men as if they can only think as if they are driven by lust.
He was sure that there were many men who thought clearly. He was one among them. But he did not speak as there was no real0ly meaning to talking against them to make his points clear. That was not his goal nor creed.
So he shook his head and said, "Let us forget about hiring Freya. Let us just have a good night today." He smiled at them as for his plan to enslave others sooner. So his future prospects which would approach faster was something that he liked. So he spent the whole night enjoying with his friends.
