The Jeju sun was finally out, and so was the class.
Beach towels, umbrellas, volleyball nets—Haneul High was on vacation mode.
Han Nari sat under a big blue parasol, sunglasses on, watching the chaos from a distance… until Gulzhan pulled her in.
"Truth or Dare. No escaping."
Nari sighed. "Do I have a choice?"
"No."
Round Three – Joon's Turn
He grinned, eyes sharp. "Truth."
Park Hyun leaned forward. "Who do you like right now?"
The group ooooohed. Nari looked away, praying.
Joon's answer? Cool, smooth, but loaded.
"Someone who would never admit they like me back."
His eyes flicked to Nari for half a second.
She nearly choked on her lemonade.
Later – Alone Near the Rocks
She needed air. Solitude.
But of course, fate had other plans.
Joon appeared beside her on the rocks, hands in his hoodie, wind messing with his hair.
"Still running away?"
"Still following me?"
They stood there—watching waves crash.
Then he moved closer. Close enough to feel the heat of his presence.
"Say it," he whispered.
"Say you don't feel anything when I look at you like this."
She turned. He was right there. Their faces inches apart.
Her breath hitched.
The wind stopped. Time froze.
He leaned in—slow, daring—until their noses brushed.
And then—
"GUYS! DINNER'S READY!"
They jumped apart like fire.
