하루가 밝았어요.

보자기 안에는 네 개의 윷과, 오래된 느낌이 나는 책이 들어 있었죠.

낯익은 목소리와 함께, 작은 도깨비가 번쩍 나타났어요.
With a familiar voice, a small goblin appeared in a flash.
도깨비는 붉은 감투를 쓰고 나무방망이를 들고 있었죠.
The goblin wore a crimson gamtu and held a wooden club.
('Gamtu' is a traditional Korean headgear worn by goblins or warriors.)
> "나는 길안내 도깨비! 자, 너의 첫 번째 윷을 던져보거라."
"I am the Guiding Goblin! Now, throw your first yut!"
태현은 긴장한 얼굴로 윷을 던졌어요.
Taehyun nervously tossed the sticks.
윷은 데구루루 굴러가다 '도'가 나왔어요.
They rolled and landed on 'Do'—the first step.
그 순간, 책의 첫 장이 저절로 펼쳐졌고
At that moment, the first page of the book flipped open,
그 안에는 작은 마을이 그려져 있었어요.
revealing a small village drawn within.
그리고 그 마을 하늘 아래,
And beneath the sky of that village,
부러진 날개로 깃털을 떨구고 있는 작은 제비가 나타났죠.

> "도와줘… 내 날개가 또 부러졌어…"
"Please help me... my wing is broken again…"
태현은 놀라서 손을 뻗었고,
Startled, Taehyun reached out his hand.
그 순간 그의 몸은 반짝이며 이야기 속으로 빨려 들어갔어요.

눈을 떠보니, 그는 이제 설화 속 마을 한가운데에 있었어요.
