Rion had been nightmare-free for just a little over a week at this point. He had been eager to get home to Thorn Forest and to our children, who we hadn’t seen in several weeks by this point, but I urged him to stay for just a few extra days to make absolutely sure that the nightmares were gone for good.
I missed the children dearly as well, but I didn’t want to risk Rion’s night terrors returning, and we hadn’t truly gotten a chance to relax since arriving at The Sky Temple.
So, Rion and I stayed for another week and decided to thank the monks by helping them with their project to replace some of the old fixtures in the gardens. Rion was gifted in this area, so I helped tend to the plants and flowers while Rion helped replace old wood with brand-new planks.
