"Impossible, I killed you." Sukuna, seeing the person in front of him, almost roared out.
"Yeah, I know, but I got a knack for coming back to life…" said the man with a smirk on his face. This was none other than Gojo.
"But how?" Maki shifted her attention from Yuta and looked at Gojo, who was now in one piece with astonishment, mirroring everyone's look. Wondering whether what she saw a little while ago was an illusion or the illusion was what she was looking at right now.
"Show off…" Yuta, hearing what Gojo had to say, just rolled his eyes. This time his revival had nothing to do with him. It was all Yuta's fast thinking and action.
Gojo, of course, heard it…
"Yo brat, what were you doing all this time? Ain't you supposed to play Gojo when I'm not around."
"How narcissistic you have to be to talk about yourself as a position…" Yuta rolled his eyes but smirked nonetheless.
"What you think you were doing, getting sealed and then dying to a waste like that? I beat his ass blue and white last time I met him. You are slipping, old man…" Yuta taunted back.
"Hahaha… Oh, you are Hiro all right. The other is the nicer one among the two of you." Gojo laughed and then turned to Okkotsu, who was watching this all with surprise on his face.
"Yo, meet your brother, probably from the same mother..." Gojo waved at Okkotsu with his usual antics.
"Alright, go and get that son of a bitch. I'm tired of bringing you back to life. Don't expect me to save your ass once again… I'm all out…" Yuta shouted and felt like just sleeping right there.
[Hero Time: 1 Second…]
Yuta pursed his lips and gritted his teeth. He was really useless now. The little HT he had left after fighting with Kenjaku and saving all those people was all used up now.
He didn't get any rest between that and all the fighting. And of course, his Hero Time also hadn't reset yet; there is still some time before that happens. He has to hang in there until then.
He wasn't sure why, but his body almost immediately rushed towards Sukuna—he just wanted to punch that bastard to death.
Of course, after that, he went and reverse time on Gojo and brought him back to life. Lost all the rest of the HT he had.
The problem was that rewinding time cost more than Time Skip.
Because Time Skip only works on himself, while Rewind works on the entire environment around him. It costs more.
1 Minute of HT for 1 second of time rewind. Even before he knew it, it was half a minute before he came to Gojo and rewound him.
Costing him all of his HT.
Right now, he is literally a sitting duck…
Gojo, who was staring down Sukuna, was also conflicted. He knew that he was dead. So how come he came back to life?
If not for Sukuna's presence, he would love to annoy Yuta and get the answer out of him.
However, right now clearly wasn't the time. He had to beat Sukuna.
'After all, his students are watching…'
Sukuna, on the other hand, was completely ridiculed by now. He knew that Gojo died. There was no mistaking that.
'So what happened?' Sukuna couldn't help but turn to Yuta. His eyes narrowing. But then he went back to his normal self.
Ready to attack Gojo, he turned to him and dashed.
Gojo too was ready to fight. However, something else happened entirely.
The slash didn't come towards him.
It went past him directly towards Yuta.
Yuta, who had no HT left, of course couldn't do anything even after getting a ridiculous amount of tingling from his spider sense.
BOOM.
An impact took place just beside Maki. It was so fast that even she didn't have time to react.
The slash sent Yuta flying back and hit a barely standing building due to the earlier fighting.
And boom.
The entire building collapsed.
"That brat is too annoying…"
"Yuta.." Maki shouted and rushed to help Yuta out. However, right now he was under a fallen building.
"HEY… I am your opponent now…" Gojo slowly said, the earlier fog in his eyes about him coming back to life was gone.
He now only had Sukuna in his eyes.
Sukuna smirked. "Come on then, I won't mind killing you once again."
Gojo didn't respond with words but instead with action. He unleashed Blue, the crushing pull of energy aimed at Sukuna's torso. Sukuna countered with his World-Cutting Slash, tearing through the pull and dashing forward. The two clashed in close combat, exchanging blows at blinding speeds. Each strike sent shockwaves through the battlefield, the ground beneath them cracking and shattering with every impact.
Gojo spun and launched Red, the repelling energy blasting Sukuna backward. Sukuna landed gracefully and retaliated immediately, sending a wave of slashes toward Gojo. The cuts ripped through the space around him, but Gojo managed to maneuver through the onslaught, his precision unmatched.
"You're slower than before," Gojo taunted, landing a brutal kick to Sukuna's side. The King of Curses staggered but recovered quickly, his fiery eyes narrowing.
Sukuna didn't reply, but he too realized this. He started slashing wildly. Gojo dodged the first few strikes but was nicked by one of the slashes, blood dripping from his arm. The crowd watching gasped, realizing the stakes of this battle.
Gojo ignored the pain, summoning Hollow Purple. The massive orb of combined cursed energy tore through the battlefield, forcing Sukuna to leap high into the air. As Sukuna descended, he fired his own barrage of energy slashes, each one aimed directly at Gojo.
The two titans clashed again, their strikes becoming faster and more brutal. It was a battle of pure willpower now. Sukuna's slashes were devastating, cutting through Gojo's surroundings and putting constant pressure on him. But Gojo's precision and adaptability kept him in the fight.
The battle raged on, with neither giving an inch. Sukuna's movements began to slow slightly, the effects of ROFA still weakening his cursed energy output. Gojo noticed this and pressed the attack, delivering a powerful combination of kicks and punches that staggered Sukuna.
