Electra and Seraphina walked back to Electra's room in silence, with Electra looking lost and Seraphina unsure of what to say.
Penelope, Irina, and Roxana had already headed off to their own rooms, giving them space, and even after they left, Electra had still not said a word since dinner ended. Her mood was easy to read, tense, and stormy, clearly as a result of the confrontation with Iris earlier.
Seraphina stayed close, watching her out of the corner of her eye. She could feel the way Electra's energy kept shifting—anger buried just under the surface. It wasn't loud anymore, but it was there, just waiting for a spark.
Once they stepped inside the room and closed the door behind them, Electra headed straight for the bed. She sat down at the edge and stared at the floor like she couldn't decide if she was more annoyed or just exhausted.
Seraphina hesitated for a second before walking over and sitting beside her. "You okay?"
