The room was filled with morning light when Laura's eyes fluttered open. She lay wrapped in the sheets, her body still against Dylan's. He was shirtless, wearing only a pair of shorts, his arm resting loosely around her waist.
She blinked up at him, studying his face. Even in sleep, he looked guarded, as if part of him refused to relax. A slow, victorious smile crept across her lips. She had done it, lured Dylan into her bed. She'd fantasized about this for months, schemed endlessly, and now, here he was.
