The more seriously wounded were all placed in a large warehouse at the back, where all the contents had been cleared out and many people lay on the ground.
They had traveled a great distance to get here, some with minor injuries and others with serious ones. However, there were too few medical staff. Many volunteers came forward from among the ordinary people. All together, there were only a few of them.
Counting those who could be considered nurses, there were only about a dozen.
"Take me to someone who has authority here," Su Mo said to a soldier.
Soon, she was taken to a doctor who was tending to a wounded person's broken arm. Su Mo recognized him; he had been the one standing guard in the tent during the flu outbreak.
The doctor recognized her immediately and quickly stood up, saying, "Why have you come?"
"I've come to see if I can be of help. Is there anything you need?" Su Mo asked.
