She moved her fingers and touched something ice-cold beside her; there was no one there anymore.
Su Mo opened her eyes and slowly sat up. Her body had been cleaned thoroughly, but the aching soreness in her waist shot straight to her brain.
Thinking of the various positions she'd been asked to take on last night, she couldn't help but blush.
Just as she was trembling, preparing to get out of bed, Aunt Jiang walked in carrying a tray with bread and milk, still wearing an "I understand" look on her face.
"Aunt Jiang, just leave it outside, I'll come out and eat in a moment," Su Mo said, feeling somewhat embarrassed as she adjusted her nightgown, attempting to cover up the evidence of her sins.
"No problem, Chenchen told me this morning before he left—heat up the milk when you wake. You must be tired from yesterday," Aunt Jiang went on, placing the items on the bedside.
Su Mo blushed, coughed lightly, and shifted the topic, "Where did he go?"
