The sky seemed to hang over the arena like a cracked vault where light and darkness waged silent war. Stars blinked intermittently as if watching the clash but unable to catch their breath.
The arena once solid construction was now a floating field of ruins and unstable possibilities a space where the ground trembled the air wavered and reality's laws faltered under pressure.
There at the center of it all two figures continued their battle.
The Architect of Eternity bore fresh marks on its translucent skin runes rewritten by force tattooed with creative fire onto its living structure. The very concept of continuity reinforced in every joint. Around it order flowed with difficulty yet still flowed.
Across from it the Entropy Avatar trembled with black energy in constant convulsion. A conglomerate of opposing wills as if dozens of versions fought to occupy the same body. Each pulse made its form oscillate between grotesque and sublime.
