Chapter 408 - Chapter 409: No Need to Make It So Complicated

"There are always more solutions than problems—that's always been my motto."

A flicker of inspiration flashed through Scott's mind.

There _had_ to be a way he could get in and out safely.

He would just need some outside help—that would make things go a lot smoother.

"You got some brilliant idea?" Hope asked impatiently, fidgeting with her fingers.

Clearly, she didn't have a better plan right now.

Every entrance was equipped with biometric scanners—even if Scott put on the Ant-Man suit and shrank down to the size of an ant…

How was he supposed to bypass those scanners and sneak into the room where the Wasp suit was being kept?

"The sewers. There's no way Darren installed those scanners in the sewers.

It'd be a complete waste of time. Plus, the moment they touch water, they'd be useless—right?"

Scott replied casually.

At that moment, he finally felt useful—like he had contributed something meaningful to the mission.

"Wouldn't someone have to shut off the water valves?" Hope frowned. "Dad and I have to be there—if either of us doesn't show, Darren will definitely get suspicious."

And besides, who was going to shut off the water to create an opportunity for Scott to sneak in?

Because Darren had suddenly ramped up all his security measures and invited Hank Pym to the event,

Their original plan was completely ruined.

Scott's idea of using the sewers really was the only remaining option now, but it required more manpower.

And not just anyone—they'd have to be people they could _trust_.

If the operation failed and they got caught, it could very well cost them their lives.

Also… who would willingly risk their life for this mission?

The more Hope thought about it, the more anxious and frustrated she became. Her fists clenched tightly.

Wanda glanced at Alan helplessly, as if silently asking whether she should use her powers to help calm Hope down.

"Actually… do we really need to go through all that trouble?"

Tony finally spoke up, feeling like they were completely ignoring his presence.

Everyone was too caught up in their _save-the-world_ planning and seemed to have forgotten the most important person in the room—_him_.

Tony couldn't understand why Alan insisted on taking such a roundabout route.

If the Emperor just stepped in, there'd be no need for Scott to crawl through the sewers at all.

What if the person they called to shut off the main valve failed to do it on time?

Scott could literally drown down there.

"Uh…"

Scott hadn't expected Tony to say something like that.

"Mr. Stark… are you disagreeing with my suggestion?"

He almost blurted out a challenge—_Do you have a better idea then?_

Later, whenever he thought back to this moment, Scott was always _grateful_ he didn't actually say that out loud.

Because if Tony didn't have _real_ skills, how could he have become Iron Man in the first place?

"Obviously I'm disagreeing with you. There's no need to make it so complicated."

Tony didn't sugarcoat his response at all.

To him, Scott and the others were _way_ overcomplicating things.

"Mr. Stark, do you have another plan?" Hope locked eyes with Tony.

Compared to Scott, she clearly had more faith in _him_.

"I can have J.A.R.V.I.S. hack into Pym Tech's network. All those biometric scanners…

They're _no challenge_ for me."

As he said that, Tony glanced over at Alan, who was still standing to the side pretending to be clueless.

Tony still remembered how Alan had somehow bypassed his firewalls and left a message for J.A.R.V.I.S. directly.

If it was _him_, there was zero need to worry about Darren's dumb security gadgets.
