Chapter 250 - Ch 250 : Kneel

Hokage Building.

In the circular hallway, two female ninja, each holding a stack of documents, walked side by side.

They were administrative staff working for the Hokage, on their way to retrieve some files from the Hokage's office.

As they walked and chatted, a figure approaching from the opposite direction immediately caught their attention.

The sharp sound of high heels clicking against the wooden floor echoed clearly.

The woman was dressed in a professional business suit, with a tight skirt that accentuated her curvaceous, black-stocking-clad legs.

Her golden hair cascaded over her shoulders, but the most eye-catching feature was undoubtedly the massive chest that strained against the buttons of her blouse, looking as if it might burst open at any moment.

She walked briskly, her gaze fixed straight ahead.

The sheer presence she exuded made the two women instinctively step aside, allowing her to pass.

They watched as she strode past them and disappeared down the hall.

Only after the sound of her heels had faded into the distance did one of the female ninja speak up, her voice filled with uncertainty.

"Was that… Lady Tsunade?"

Her companion slowly nodded.

"…It looked like her."

Aside from Samui, the only person with that kind of figure was Lady Tsunade.

What puzzled them, however, was why Tsunade was dressed like a secretary.

Wasn't she working at the hospital these days?

If they hadn't just come from the Hokage's office and seen Samui there, they might have thought they had mistaken one for the other.

"But… Lady Tsunade looks stunning in a business suit!"

"She really does. Her figure is absolutely enviable."

"What, is your boyfriend complaining that you're too small?"

"He wouldn't dare. I'm already being nice by not complaining about his size."

"Lady Tsunade is, like, in her forties, right?"

"You'd never guess. She looks like she's in her twenties."

The two continued chatting as they walked away.

Tsunade stopped in front of the Hokage's office door.

After changing into this outfit, she hadn't taken a good look at herself in the mirror, but she could imagine how different she must appear compared to her usual self.

Those two female staff members from earlier must have recognized her—that would explain their shocked expressions at her attire.

I am Tsunade, one of the Legendary Sannin…

As she thought about this, she suddenly found it incredibly ironic.

Of the three legendary Sannin of Konoha—one had been executed as a traitor to the village, another had become a rogue ninja and was now in exile, and the last one—herself—wasn't in a much better situation.

The Legendary Sannin… Hah, what a joke.

She raised her hand and knocked on the door.

A woman's voice answered from inside.

"Come in."

Samui was standing in front of the desk, sorting through some documents.

She showed no surprise at Tsunade's arrival, nor did she even raise an eyebrow at her unusual attire, as if she had already expected her to come.

Samui spoke calmly, "Lord Hokage is taking a nap. You can wait for him in the lounge—just don't disturb him."

Watching Samui continue her work without acknowledging her further, as if she had anticipated this exact moment, left Tsunade with an uncomfortable feeling.

But she no longer had the confidence to lash out.

Saying nothing, she silently walked past and entered the lounge inside the Hokage's office.

Following Samui's instructions, Tsunade moved lightly and cautiously.

It was her first time entering this lounge, and she quickly noticed a large bed inside, where the Hokage was lying, fast asleep.

On the nearby table, there were remnants of a finished meal.

The entire room was impeccably clean and tidy, with a faint fragrance lingering in the air—coming from the incense placed on the table.

Tsunade's gaze swiftly scanned the room.

Though the situation was inappropriate, she couldn't help but feel a slight pang of hunger when her eyes landed on the food.

She had skipped lunch.

But right now, she had no choice but to endure it.

She tiptoed over to a chair and sat down, making sure her posture wasn't too casual.

Her hands rested neatly on her knees, as if she were sitting before a respected elder.

Even though no one was watching her, she instinctively imposed these restraints upon herself.

The other person in the room was still lying on the bed, fast asleep.

Tsunade's heartbeat synchronized with the ticking of the wall clock—restless, anxious, her mind overwhelmed by countless emotions.

About half an hour passed before Makoto slowly woke up.

As soon as he turned over, he saw someone kneeling on the floor before him, dressed in the same professional attire as Samui but with a more voluptuous figure.

Her golden hair cascaded down, partially covering her hands, which were pressed against the ground as she bowed deeply.

Her posture made the fabric of her clothes stretch tightly over her body, outlining her alluring curves.

She spoke slowly, "Lord Hokage, I have come to admit my mistakes. My previous actions were impulsive and foolish, and I sincerely beg for your forgiveness."

Clearly, she had prepared these words beforehand.

Though her voice trembled slightly, her deeply submissive posture conveyed undeniable sincerity.

It could be considered sincerity—after all, she had already lowered herself this much.

Makoto simply stretched lazily in bed, letting out a satisfied sigh.

Yet, Tsunade received no response.

She remained with her arms on the ground, forehead pressed tightly against her hands, not daring to lift her head.

Maintaining this utterly humiliating posture before someone she despised filled her with uncontrollable tremors.

She kept telling herself over and over—He is the Hokage. He is the Hokage. No amount of respect is too much…

But the longer she waited without a response, the more panicked she felt.

She feared that even after all this, she still wouldn't achieve the outcome she desired.

If he held a grudge and continued to humiliate her, could she even endure it?

Just then, she noticed the shadow on the floor shift.

It seemed Makoto had sat up, and a moment later, a foot extended toward her.

"Put on my shoes."

"..."

Tsunade's mind seemed to freeze for a moment, as if a bell had struck inside her head.

She lifted her gaze slightly, just enough to catch sight of the raised foot—

It was mere inches from her face!

There was no unpleasant odor—the skin was clean and fair—but it was still a man's foot.

This was humiliation, wasn't it?

At first, Tsunade had only expected verbal mockery and insults.

A nameless emotion surged within her, impossible to suppress.

Strangely, she didn't even feel that angry anymore.

Instead, she suddenly couldn't understand—

Why was she here?

Why was she kneeling so disgracefully before this man?

She was Tsunade, wasn't she?

Was she still herself?

Why had things come to this?

An intense urge to flee overwhelmed her—to get away from this person, this situation.

But would running away only make her seem even more pathetic?

Her mind felt like it had shut down, as if she had lost the ability to think.

Desperately, she tried to recall the reasoning she had drilled into herself before coming here.

For Shizune.

She lowered her head as much as possible, as if keeping it down would allow her to escape this moment.

Even without focus, her gaze landed on the pair of shoes placed neatly beside her.

Shizune…

Tsunade's trembling hands slowly reached out.

The act of simply touching the shoes seemed unbearably long, as if she were crossing an endless ocean, stepping over an abyss with no bottom, falling from the clouds into the dirt.

Like a Goddess statue defiled with filth—

As if the entire world had turned upside down.

Her slender, fair fingers stretched open the stockings, inch by inch slipping them onto Makoto's foot, carefully smoothing out the wrinkles.

Then, with one hand holding the shoe and the other supporting his foot, she helped him put it on…

Makoto lifted his other foot in front of her.

Kneeling there with her head lowered, Tsunade continued her task.

Her eyes seemed to be focused on his foot, yet at the same time, they were empty, as if she had lost herself.

Once both shoes were on, Makoto stood up and stretched his body briefly in front of her.

"Make up the bed and clean up the dishes."

With that, he left the room, leaving Tsunade still kneeling on the floor.

Only when the room fell completely silent, with nothing but the ticking of the wall clock breaking the stillness, did she finally become aware of her own heartbeat.

She slowly lifted her head and saw the bed—covers thrown back, slightly disheveled.
