Daniel rubbed his forehead in frustration. When he looked up again, he saw Chantelle leaning against the doorframe with a faint smile on her lips.
"What's making you smile like that?" he asked as he walked up to her.
Chantelle laughed out loud. She looked stunning, like a rose in full bloom.
"I never thought I'd get to see you looking so lost and helpless."
She had seen everything that happened earlier. It was clear Stephanie did it on purpose.
"These antiques were Kate's. I actually forgot all about them," Daniel said. "I didn't plan to keep them on display forever. Looks like my wife gets jealous easily….but I have to admit, I kind of like it."
Daniel placed his arm on the wall just above her head. He stood in front of her, looking both dominant and romantic.
He had been living at the Western Hill Villa lately. He rarely came to the Wilson residence, so he had forgotten all about those vases.
