The chemistry, I mean, and it was so easy for me to dislike you from the get-go. Even a blind person can feel it radiating between you two," he laughs, shaking his head.
There it is. The line I wasn't supposed to cross. The line I have somehow triggered unknowingly.

"I mean, I have never seen something like that. Normally, people speak and then discover you might like the person, but with you two, it was like words weren't needed to know that yes, you two will be friends and get along, no questions asked." his chuckle is bitter as he looks down at his intertwined fingers.
