Chapter 109 - Chapter 109: Nature

In the mysterious space, Lynn listened intently to every piece of information, absorbing it word for word. While he was deeply shocked, he also felt a sense of clarity, as if everything had finally fallen into place like clouds dispersing to reveal the bright moon.

"A destroyed civilization… this matches exactly what I discovered in the first level of the labyrinth!"

Suddenly, he recalled the strange supernatural writings he had encountered in the first labyrinth, along with the contents they described.

Those writings did not belong to any known system within the wizarding world. They had never been recorded or studied by wizards before.

But if these writings originated from a civilization that had been annihilated, then everything made sense!

As for who had destroyed that civilization...

Lynn thought back to the records he had found in the first labyrinth accounts of deities and the Pantheon, still vivid in his memory.

"A civilization buried by the gods… In that case, could these labyrinths be fragments of that civilization, materialized in some unknown way?"

This hypothesis suddenly made everything clear.

Through his two journeys into the labyrinths, Lynn had traversed countless trials and challenges. Like scattered puzzle pieces, his experiences were finally assembled into a coherent picture.

For the first time, he felt he was beginning to grasp the true nature of this mysterious space.

"And the term 'landscape' mentioned by that powerful wizard could that be the real name of these labyrinths?"

Although many of his questions had now been answered, a deeper mystery still lingered in his mind.

According to the wizard's explanation, everything within the "landscapes" should be illusions nothing more than ephemeral projections.

Like a dream, no matter how real it seemed, once one woke up, it would all vanish into nothingness.

But that was not the case here!

Everything in this place was not only real but also left behind tangible proof of its existence.

Whether it was the little green creature he had acquired originating from the long-lost Green Forest Earl or the divine blood pellet he had just obtained, these items proved that the labyrinths were not mere illusions.

Most notably, the divine blood pellet had increased Lynn's mental power, raising it to thirty points.

This was something no dream could ever accomplish.

However, all of these things seemed to share a commonality they had all been granted through that golden balance scale!

Lynn suddenly turned around, his gaze locking onto the radiant, golden scale.

At that very moment, he vaguely sensed a faint, elusive ripple of energy.

The ripple did not originate from the golden scale itself but rather from somewhere above it, as if something hidden lay concealed there.

"Is there… another projection or labyrinth space in that location?"

What shocked Lynn even more was that the ripple's origin was somehow connected to the Azure Sky Meditation Technique!

Not daring to be careless, Lynn cautiously stepped toward the golden scale.

His movements were extremely careful. As he approached, a series of chaotic supernatural symbols materialized in the air around him, floating like signposts, guiding his path.

Lynn realized that if he did not follow the instructions of these symbols precisely, he might never be able to get close to the scale.

The closer he got, the stronger the familiar fluctuations from the Azure Sky Meditation Technique became. Meanwhile, the hidden projection gradually became clearer.

At first, he could only make out a vague outline. But as he continued forward, the scene grew more distinct until he finally saw it.

It was a dreamlike realm, seemingly an independent space of its own.

Within this space, an expanse of maple trees stretched endlessly, each leaf shimmering with an extraordinary glow.

At the heart of the maple forest stood an ancient, towering maple tree. Its trunk was gnarled and mighty, its branches lush and abundant. It exuded an aura of timeworn depth as if it had withstood the passage of countless ages.

"This maple tree… It radiates a powerful natural energy. There's no doubt it is an extraordinary plant!"

Lynn's eyes sharpened as memories of nature wizards surfaced in his mind.

He knew well that every nature wizard possessed their extraordinary plant, just as bloodline wizards had their unique supernatural bloodlines.

These plants were not only the core of their power but also deeply intertwined with their very souls.

Although the nature wizard he had previously encountered had not revealed their complete supernatural plant, the swirling maple leaves during the battle had already hinted at the source of their strength.

Now, as Lynn gazed upon this ancient and enigmatic maple tree, he instantly deduced that it must be the supernatural plant of that nature wizard!

But what truly concerned him was what the powerful wizard had mentioned earlier.

That nature wizard's soul was not their own it had been taken over by an otherworldly entity.

"Then… could the real soul of the nature wizard be trapped inside this maple tree?"

A deep tremor ran through Lynn's heart as his gaze remained fixed on the ancient maple tree, his thoughts racing.

Just as he hesitated, uncertain of his next move, the Azure Sky Meditation Technique's fluctuations suddenly intensified, and a weak voice emerged from within them.

This voice did not use a supernatural language but instead spoke in the standard language of wizards. The tone was intermittent, filled with fragility:

"Kid… What are you standing around for… Hurry… Hurry and find a way to get me out of here…"

Hearing this, Lynn narrowed his eyes slightly but did not respond immediately.

His brows furrowed as he took two cautious steps back, his expression alert and guarded. He asked in a deep voice:

"Who are you?"

At the sound of his question, the ancient maple tree trembled slightly. Its leaves rustled in the unseen wind, exuding a mysterious and unfathomable aura, as if responding to Lynn's doubts.

Moments later, another wave of Azure Sky Meditation Technique fluctuations resonated. This time, the voice carried a hint of bitterness and helplessness:

"You… You really… don't know anything… Then do you recognize these two nature wizards…?"

Hearing this, Lynn's expression shifted slightly. He focused his gaze on the maple tree.

One of its branches slowly lowered into his field of vision, bearing two enormous maple leaves. Each leaf was the size of an adult's face, radiating an unusual spiritual light.

But what shocked him most was what appeared on these leaves

On the left maple leaf, a miniature figure of a man manifested it was none other than Colin!

On the right maple leaf, another figure emerged this one belonging to a graceful woman with a familiar face his mentor, Rosalind!

At that moment, the ancient maple tree swayed gently.

A series of unique fluctuations from the Azure Sky Meditation Technique spread outward, accompanied by a voice that seemed to explain everything to Lynn…

Listening to these explanations true or false Lynn's eyes darkened slightly.

At last, he had learned about the origins of his so-called mentor, Rosalind, from another person's lips…
