"Everyone, please welcome Mr Levi." Mia heard the owner of the dog shelter speak with a smile on her face. She clapped her hands, and so did the rest of them, including Mia, even though she was more than just surprised when she saw her neighbour in the same dog shelter where she came to do volunteer work.
Levi smiled at the other volunteers, looking nervous as he touched his heavy black-rimmed glasses and tousled hair. Now, Mia was not someone who could read through one's actions; she could see that the man was rather nervous. So, she raised her hand and waved at Levi, who was obviously rather nervous about the current predicament he was in at the moment.
Her actions caught the attention of others, and Levi's as well.
