After Achilleus and Benkó left Citar and Wandi alone on the streets of Floating Barracks, the two quarrelsome friends just walked the streets of the city for a while, not really paying attention to where they were going. They just talked and followed their noses, until they reached the large arena that hosted the Barraks Cup. The pair stopped here and looked up at the building.
"How about a match, icecream?" Achilleus asked with a wide smile on his lips.
"You spoke from my heart, fravel." Benkó chuckled, and then the pair skillfully sneaked into the arena.
"How well do you understand summoning circles?" Achilleus asked his friend.
"Although it hurts to admit it, not as much as you. Why?" The question came from Benkó and the boy put one hand on his hip.
"Because if we want to fight, it might be smarter to close the arena so they don't notice us." The Motumisz boy rolled his eyes.
"I'll close the doors, you draw the summoning circles." Benkó grinned and already set off to close all the doors leading to the arena.
"Well, you're finally done, Icecream!" Achilles shouted to his friend when the Bokló boy returned from work.
"It didn't turn out so bad, Gravel." The light blue-clad hegin looked up at the sky, where a protective shell was faintly vibrating.
"It could be better, but I didn't feel like trying." Achilles shrugged.
"I kind of guessed." Benkó rolled his eyes, then jogged to the middle of the arena. "So, how much are we going to beat each other into a pulp?" He asked the question with a broad grin.
"Give it your all!" Benkó received the answer and a dose of sand in his face, which was enough to summon the cold fire and attack himself.
Their duel, like in the Barracks Cup, was a succession of quick attacks and defenses. Even though they know each other's fighting techniques, they can still make the other dance. So although it lasted longer than during the Cup, they still got to the point where they were both standing in front of each other panting. A playful light in their eyes, a wide smile on their lips.
"Okay, now really give it your all, Icecream!" Achilleus announced.
"Don't start it you too!" Benkó rolled his eyes. "I told you I gave it my all last time too." The Bokló boy folded his arms in front of him.
"And I know that you lied to my face." Achilles snapped in a calm voice. "But you know what, if you don't want to give it your all, then I'll make sure you give it your all!" The boy said, then snapped.
Apparently nothing happened and Benkó was about to question his friend when the Motumisz boy held out his arms in front of him and raised them towards the sky, when a circular edged table appeared in front of him, rising from the ground. There was apparently only sand on the table, which confused the Bokló boy even more.
"Let's see what you do with this, Icecream." Achilles whispered as he pressed his hands into the sand and made a small hill in the middle of the table.
"You completely lost your mind!" The other boy blinked. Benkó still didn't understand what was going on, but then the ground started to shake under his feet. The light blue-clad hegin immediately looked down at the ground and started running sideways with wide eyes.
A huge rock rose out of the ground where he was standing. Benkó heard his friend laugh when the ground gave way from under his feet and he started to fall. He was lucky that there was water in the air and was able to summon ice under his feet, which stopped his fall. Then he was able to jump out of the pit, but when he hit the ground he was surprised to find that the arena had completely changed.
There were mountains and ravines everywhere, and when Benkó started to move somewhere, the natural forms disappeared in a matter of seconds and were replaced by new ones. The Bokló boy didn't even know where to go or what to do, if he tried to climb up a place, it disappeared from under his feet, if he wanted to jump over a ravine, suddenly a mountain started to rise from it. So Benkó had no choice but to run for his life.
Then, during one of his falls, he saw his friend, who was still standing next to the table filled with sand, playing with the sand like children on a warm summer day on the riverbank. Benkó would never have thought of his friend hiding such an ability from the group, but it seems that even Achilles can still surprise him.
While the Bokló heir fled from the mountains and ravines, Achilles stood still in front of the table and grinningly dug into the sand, or pushed it into a small hill. He had only discovered this ability a few years ago, when he was playing with the sand at home on a boring day. He knew that he saw the earth differently than most people, for him the earth was not simply brown or black.
Achilles only had to look at a stone wall to know what minerals were hidden deep within it. They all had different colors. Iron was a faint pink, bronze was orange, salt was white, gold was yellow, and so on. Even the earth around them had a color. That is, better in other words, its shade depended on what kind of rock it was and how high the rock was. The tops of the mountains were always much paler than their bottoms, the mountains themselves could be black, brown, or pinkish.
That day when he realized the ability he was using, he was thinking that the small hills he had raised from the sand could also have different shades. It was all just a coincidence, he was thinking about this as he was raising the small hills when he noticed that the ground started to move beneath him and when he looked up with narrowed eyes, he only saw that a circle of small hills surrounded him.
Since then, he has been refining the ability and you could say that this was his trump card, he thought that at an opportune moment, when they really can't get through somewhere, he would show it to the team. Now, however, his curiosity got the better of him to show his ability to Benkó. Achilles wanted to know what secret ability his friend had, which Biaskoncy seemed to have found out.
However, his friend proved to be very stubborn and did not want to reveal his ability to Achilles. Finally, the Motumisz boy got so fed up with this that he stopped himself and buried the little brain puppet that marked his friend on the sand table under a mountain. For a few moments, nothing happened, the earthbender boy was just thinking about releasing the Bokló boy, when the ground opened up in the place where Benkó disappeared and the boy in the blue clothes shook the sand out of his hair and rose from the ground. This was enough for Achilles to slam both hands on the table, which immediately disappeared from him, thus restoring the normal face of the arena.
"Icecream, by the ghosts! Why didn't you tell me that you could use the Motumisz abilities? I would have taught you to be perfect." He demanded an accounting.
"If I had to guess two, I'd say it's because of the same thing why you didn't think it was important to tell about this little trick of yours either, Gravel." Benkó dusted himself off.
"Ah, you wanted it as a trump card, like me." Achilleus nodded.
"I won't say anything to the others, if you don't either." Benkó stepped in front of his friend and offered him his hand.
"We have a deal." Achilleus snapped and shook the hand he was holding out to him. "Well, let's clean up after ourselves and then go to sleep, you've tired me out, Icecream!" The boy yawned.
"Are you talking? I was running up and down like a madman." Benkó rolled his eyes, but in the end the two friends just started to make the summoning circles disappear.
