Chapter 119 - Ragnarök Is Coming

Rowan didn't know yet, but just because of a casual paragraph he wrote, so many speculations arose—especially from Nick Fury, who vaguely suspected the involvement of the Ancient One and the existence of the Time Variation Administration.

Though they didn't know much about the Time Variation Administration, they could clearly guess from Rowan's daily judgments that he seemed afraid of some unknown existence.

Many of their speculations were close to the truth, but they couldn't realize that even things like the timeline were being managed by someone.

In fact, this was also a kind of test Rowan had originally designed for the Time Variation Administration. Now that the test was complete, the general picture became clearer: perhaps these ten timelines were not under the direct management of the Time Variation Administration.

What Nick Fury and the others pondered was what exactly counted as "out of line" in the eyes of the of the Time Variation Administration. What actions caused Rowan to be singled out among all beings, marked for elimination?

But Rowan understood very well: it was the result of a massive mutation in the timeline.

Those who should have won didn't win; those who should have lost didn't lose. Those who deserved to die did not, and those who deserved to live did not. All this was a matter handled by the Time Variation Administration.

With his strength, it was easy for Rowan to cause a butterfly effect. So if the Time Variation Administration noticed him, he should have been dealt with immediately.

However, this first time wasn't what Nick Fury and the others imagined—waiting until they found him to act. They would act the moment Rowan crossed over.

So now that Rowan was still alive and well, two possibilities remained. First, the butterfly effect caused by Rowan was actually not very serious. As long as a few key nodes weren't altered, the entire timeline wouldn't be subject to change.

Second, the Time Variation Administration no longer existed, and the birth of this timeline explained all of this.

Now was the era of the multiverse after the universal crash.

It was crucial for Rowan to confirm this point. This made him gradually dare to take action and no longer be as submissive as he had been in the beginning.

Even if he met the Ancient One, he could still talk and try to persuade her. But if he met the Time Variation Administration, things would be serious; if he wasn't directly eliminated, he would be arrested and judged.

[Diary Entry]

The destruction of Asgard is almost inevitable. Ragnarök is coming, and Thor will also be crowned king of the fishing village, becoming the king of the fishing village (funny)!

Queen Frigg probably never imagined she would die because of Loki's prank in the future—truly heartbreaking.

Maybe I can warn them? But can this change the established future? Would Odin think I have ulterior motives?

Rowan had thought about warning them, but after considering it, the destruction of Asgard seemed almost inevitable—something Odin clearly understood.

Because he was suppressing Hela now, but as time passed, Hela would emerge sooner or later.

That would be the real end. Hela was nearly a companion to Asgard, and the longer Odin delayed, the stronger Hela's power grew.

At that point, no one would be able to suppress her. Rowan even guessed Odin might not have died so early.

Perhaps Odin had been seriously injured because he had suppressed Hela with divine power for a long time—his injuries worsening until he died shortly thereafter.

Otherwise, judging by the situation of Zeus and Queen Frigg, Odin should not have been near death from old age.

Once Hela emerged, the only way to deal with her was to completely destroy Asgard—or another way might exist: Thor could break through to Level God Father in a short time and continue suppressing Hela.

Besides, this worst outcome might still be avoidable.

This is the so-called effect of fate.

If Ragnarök was so easy to resolve, Odin wouldn't be so desperate. Rowan guessed Odin had been searching for a solution to Ragnarök until recently, but none had appeared.

All of this was obvious. For example, why Odin didn't train Thor long ago, but suddenly chose to train him recently, forcing him to mature quickly.

Odin was probably hopeless—unable to stop Hela's coming.

Even Odin, a Level God Father, was powerless. Let alone Rowan.

There was definitely another way now: Rowan could also be promoted to Level God Father. Perhaps if he defeated Hela, everything could be redeemed...

Level God Father was the watershed between ordinary masters and super masters in today's universe.

Without reaching Level God Father, no one could be considered a true master in the universe.

At S.H.I.E.L.D., everyone looked at each other in stunned silence. They guessed the destruction of Asgard Rowan mentioned might only mean the destruction of the landscape. After all, it was possible.

Though Ragnarök was legendary, it might not happen in their era.

But now, Rowan's words completely shattered their assumptions: Ragnarök of Asgard was right before them.

Under this Ragnarök, Asgard would be utterly destroyed. But what about Earth?

Earth would suffer accordingly—and then that Purple Potato Spirit would snap its fingers, directly bringing about the end of Earth.

"It's all over now. We can no longer harbor any illusions!" Phil Coulson couldn't help but say after reading the updated diary entry.

"Ragnarök isn't just coming, it's happening in our time. It cannot be avoided!"

Nick Fury nodded grimly. Now with his luck at 4.5, and Tony Stark ultimately saving the Level Universe, everything was clear.

"Go back and write a report. Prepare an assessment: if we want to handle the world after Asgard's destruction, what kind of configuration do we need, how much funding, and who must we recruit!"

Nick Fury immediately issued orders to prepare for the future—a fragmented world.

A world without Asgard's protection.

"In the future, Earth will have to walk alone and face threats from alien civilizations!" Nick Fury paused, then said.

Now he was even more troubled about how to report this to the council without revealing the diary—and how to secure enough funding and recruitment power.

It wouldn't be easy.
