"What actually happened?" Jaden's voice rose sharply as he sat up properly.
"I can't disclose that," Kaelith sighed, his voice low and burdened.
"What! Why tell me if you can't say?" Jaden exclaimed in frustration, his hands outstretched in disbelief. "I mean, why give me a snippet if you can't give me the whole gist?"
"It's complicated. You see, my dad is trying to control me, and I don't want that at all. So I kind of disagreed with what he told me to do. Because of that, he gave me an ultimatum: either I dance to his tune or I get disowned. And I didn't want to be played around. It's just so complicated right now." Kaelith mumbled, his fingers tugging at his hair.
"Oh… that's bad and really sad. It's truly awful when one's dad tries to boss them around. I also hate that kind of control… but well, my dad was never like that, so I can't really relate," Jaden sighed. "So, what are you going to do now?"
"Like what?" Kaelith asked, completely oblivious to what Jaden was implying.
