Chapter 61 - The birth of chaos

Ravihiro's Journey Back

Ravihiro exited the temple, his steps measured and steady despite the trials he had endured. The jungle around him seemed eerily quiet, as if nature itself was holding its breath. He paused for a moment, glancing at the temple's collapsed entrance.

"Whatever I've unleashed here, it's not over," he muttered, the faint glow of the Orb of Equilibrium now residing in his core.

The journey back to the Sky Demon Sect was uneventful but far from peaceful. Ravihiro's thoughts churned as he reflected on the Judge's warning and the shadow he'd seen looming in the distance. Yet, his face remained stoic, betraying none of the turmoil within.

Return to the Sky Demon Sect

By the time he reached the gates of the Sky Demon Sect, the sun was setting, painting the sky with hues of red and gold. The guards recognized him instantly, stepping aside with a respectful bow.

Ravihiro walked through the sect grounds, ignoring the curious glances of disciples and elders alike. Whispers followed him, speculating on his recent absence and the dark aura that now seemed more balanced yet still intimidating.

Rumina, who had been anxiously awaiting his return, spotted him and rushed forward. "You're back!" she exclaimed, relief evident in her voice.

He gave her a curt nod. "I've handled what I needed to," he said plainly. "The sect is safe."

Rumina frowned, clearly sensing his exhaustion and the faint injuries he still carried. "You're not telling me everything," she said, crossing her arms.

"I will," Ravihiro replied, his tone leaving no room for argument. "But first, I need to rest."

The Temple's Aftermath

As the scene shifted back to the now-ruined temple, the air grew heavy with an ominous energy. The faint glimmer of Ravihiro's spilled blood remained on the cracked stone floor, shimmering faintly under the moonlight.

Suddenly, the ground quivered. Dark, writhing tentacles emerged from the shadows, slithering toward the blood. They moved with a sinister purpose, gathering the droplets with meticulous care.

The collected blood began to glow as the tentacles retreated into the shadows, carrying it toward the far corner of the temple ruins. There, nestled amidst the rubble, was an ancient egg, black as obsidian and covered in crimson runes.

The blood seeped into the runes, causing them to pulsate violently. The egg trembled, cracks forming along its surface.

Inside, a faint, otherworldly glow emerged, and a pair of piercing, inhuman eyes snapped open.

A New Threat Awakens

The creature within let out a low, guttural growl, filled with an unnatural hunger. The temple ruins seemed to resonate with its presence, and the ground around the egg darkened, as if reality itself was bending to its will.

The chapter ends with the camera zooming in on the egg, the creature's eyes gleaming with malevolent intelligence. Somewhere in the distance, the faint sound of drums begins to echo, signaling the birth of a new danger.

The screen fades to black, leaving readers with a single question
