Elena did not realize that her wolf had tried to reach out as she'd been quiet for so long but she was surprised by how King Killian's eyes turned gold and how he suddenly pulled back like he was startled.
She wanted to ask him if there were any problems, but he dismissed the whole thing and insisted they go to the library. That it was nothing. His action confused her but she quickly forgot about it, more eager to show Killian what she had found.
"What is it you want to show me?" King Killian asked calmly as he walked through the familiar section where the historical books were kept with Elena by his side.
"Okay, so I was reading through some historical books today and I noticed something very strange." Elena began, her tone turning serious. "I found a book with a strange content and when I opened it, I was shocked with the sketch I saw."
