"Stop!" Elena shouted as she burst into the study. She threw herself in front of King Killian, arms outstretched, chest heaving, eyes blazing with defiance at the massive black wolf that could crush her in seconds.
"Stop this now!" she yelled again.
Zuko stepped back, a flicker of surprise in his eyes.
Earlier, after her run-in with Xavier, Elena had waited until she was sure he'd left the bathroom. She quickly got dressed and went looking for him—not to apologize, but to demand the towel he had taken.
She was passing by Killian's study when she suddenly heard the loud growl of a wolf, and from the familiar scent lingering in the air, she knew it was Xavier and that was how she instinctively ran inside without thinking. If things had gotten heated, she would have definitely gotten hurt.
