Jake's POV:
I was in my room, looking through some documents, when I heard a knock on the door.
"Who is there?" I asked.
"It's me," the person said. I could recognize who it was from the voice.
"Come in," I said, before the door creaked open. A man entered, then bowed his head.
"I hope you have something important to tell me?" I asked, curious to know what urgent matter had made him disturb me while I was working.
"I'm here to report about the breeder you asked me to keep an eye on," he said.
I waved my hand, indicating he should continue.
"I heard she was almost raped by a man. It was Sir Rohan who managed to save her," he said.
"What!" I asked, shocked. Why wasn't I informed of this? If my understanding was right, it must have been First Brother who ordered this news to be kept secret.
