"Daddy!"

"Daddy!" 


She ran through the palace corridors searching for her dad, the King.

The Butler came downstairs and stopped her. He took her hand and bowed.

"Princess Catherine....!" 

"Mr Adrian, you don't have to do that every time, you can do this when officials are around!" She protested.


"Your Highness is outside!" He completed his sentence.

This made her recall her errands, and then she quickly rushed out, saying, "You are very good at changing subjects. Next time, we will sort this out! Mr Adrian!"

She walked out and saw the light within the gardens. She spotted him in the pergola covered with Wisteria and Heliotrope.

As she got near, she found out her father was not alone but with Prince Christian Edgar, who was going to be her husband soon.

She handed him the journal, old and dusty. Then she sat down on the mat with curiosity.

As the King opened it, he couldn't stop the tears that rolled out, and he could feel the memories on the pages.


Her daughter stepped forward and hugged him, knowing he needed her support.


Seeing this beautiful moment, Prince Christian decided to take a leave, offering this moment to the King and his daughter.


Just as they released each other, King took out his handkerchief, wiping his tears, whereas Prince Christian offered his handkerchief to Catherine.


As they settled, Prince bowed his head and then looked at them.


"Your Highness, I may take my...."


"Stay here Christian! I want you to listen to this too; after all, we're all family!" 


Prince smiled and joined the princess on the Ground, like small kids listening to the stories, which were real.

"What Do You Mean?" With her heavy heart, she cried and said that she could not believe her father's words.


"I am sorry, my daughter, but it's true!" His father delivered the unbearable truth.


"No, it can't be!" She Cried harder while hugging her mother's portrait, the last thing she would ever wish for.


"I Cannot Kill My Mother!" She couldn't believe and accept it; how could she kill her own mother?


"I totally oppose your word My Lord! Forgive me but Princess can never do this!" Prince came to hug and support the princess.


"I Am Sorry! My Child But The Truth Lies Beneath This!" King said.

"A Mother's Love Is Always Unconditional For Us. They Do Anything To Protect Us And They Can Even Sacrifice Their Love To Save Us"


With These lines here I am with my third novel, which not only unfolds motherly love but also a young teenage girl who learns about something which is hidden beyond the grave.


Even though she has this emptiness for her mother, she is still happy that she has her father, but the future has different plans of wrapping something which can disturbher for a lifetime.
