Chapter 53 - AAMH: Chapter 53

Although I've been in this world for almost two years, I've been staying in the shop and haven't gone out much.

Even when I did go out, I only interacted with some Chinese shop owners in Chinatown and some small-time gangsters in Flushing.

With my strength, these gangsters couldn't pose any threat to me. Plus, the shop owners in Chinatown were kind to me, so my impression of the people in the Marvel world was still based on my subjective impressions from watching movies.

You know, this is the Marvel universe. There are villains everywhere who kill and set fires, and politicians who are dirty. How stupid was I to believe that everyone would be sincere and kind to me?

Just because I have superhuman strength and helped them with a few small things?

I took S.H.I.E.L.D. and the military too lightly.

How could Ross have done this without S.H.I.E.L.D.'s approval?

When has S.H.I.E.L.D. ever given up on obtaining super-powered forces or methods to gain super-powered forces?

It seems I forgot that there are only three types of superheroes in the Avengers.

One type is those whose strength or power is so great that the government and military can't do anything about them, such as Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, and Black Panther.

One type is those who work for S.H.I.E.L.D. or the United States, such as Black Widow, Hawkeye, Patriot, and Captain America.

The last type is those who have a backer, like Spider-Man and Winter Soldier!

Besides these, the remaining superhumans either become Daredevil or are eliminated or captured and dissected as villains.

I don't have the power to intimidate them, and my strength isn't strong enough to ignore them, so it's understandable that I've become a piece of Tang monk's flesh in their eyes.

It's still my fault for being too stupid. I naively thought that S.H.I.E.L.D. and the military were like they were in the movies, a force of justice. I instinctively wanted to get close to them or help them.

I never thought that there was such a thing as justice in this world. It's all about interests.

Maybe it's because I also have a superhero dream in my heart?

Yuma looked at the ceiling, confused.

But none of this matters. Yuma's eyes gradually became firm. It's time to establish my own power.

As for General Ross and S.H.I.E.L.D., I'll send them some "gifts" first. I'll settle this score slowly later!

Opening the system interface, Yuma found the Exchange Store section and spent 10,000 souls to exchange for an [Ashisogi-maru].

This is a product provided by the system, made based on the ability of the Zanpakuto, "Ashisogi Jizō," of the captain of the 12th Division of the Gotei 13, Mayuri Kurotsuchi. It can create a miniature version of "Ashisogi Jizō" to enter the target's body and absorb any toxins or drugs. It's just right to solve my current problem.

"System, does Itto Kaso need my body to be burned as a medium to release it?" Yuma asked softly, looking at the skill card for the chantless version of Itto Kaso in the Exchange Store, which costs 50,000 souls.

[It does.]

[But the host can cancel this condition at a price of 10,000 souls per use.]

Yuma couldn't help but look away when he first heard that it was necessary. He didn't expect the system to take a breath and then make a sudden turn.

Without hesitation, Yuma directly bought one. Currently, the only skill I can afford that has large-scale destructive power and is shocking enough is this one.

"What a pity!"

Looking at the long string of 0s behind the item [Character Experience Card: Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni (Bankai)], Yuma shook his head regretfully.

If I could use Ryūjin Jakka, how awesome would that be!

Exiting the system, Yuma directly used the [Ashisogi-maru]. Soon, the drugs in his body were absorbed, and the miniature "Golden Ashisogi Jizō" directly dissipated in his body, turning into his spiritual pressure.

After regaining control of his body and feeling the surging spiritual pressure in his body, Yuma didn't rush to act. Instead, he said to the soldiers beside him, "Go call Ross. I have something to tell him."

The soldiers beside him saw that Yuma had opened his mouth. They all picked up their remote controls and were on guard, afraid that Yuma would say a spell they didn't understand.

Only after Yuma spoke and it wasn't a spell did they relax. After Yuma finished speaking, one of the soldiers put away his remote control and turned to leave.

Not long after, General Ross returned, accompanied by the soldier who had just left.

"Yuma, have you changed your mind?" General Ross said as soon as he entered the room. There was uncontainable joy on his face. "Don't worry. As long as you can tell us the method, we won't make things difficult for you."

"Do you believe that yourselves?" Yuma turned to Ross and said sarcastically.

"Of course. Before we let you go, you must help us cultivate a group of powerful Shinigami." General Ross paused and said. "As long as you cooperate, we will definitely keep our promise."

"Besides, I don't think you'll want to spend the rest of your life lying in bed unable to move, or turning into a mindless killing machine, do you?"

"Actually, I have a better way," Yuma suddenly smiled at Ross.

General Ross thought that Yuma had some ideas. He sat on the chair beside him and gestured with a please gesture, motioning for Yuma to continue.

"The way is to destroy this place, then escape, and find a chance to retaliate against S.H.I.E.L.D.," Yuma said slowly. "In the future, whenever I have the chance, I'll cause you some trouble. I'll destroy a few of your branches or bases whenever I have the chance. Consider it helping you lay off staff. Of course…"

"Enough!" General Ross stood up angrily. "It seems you're going to choose the second way of cooperation."

"I don't think so," Yuma said. Then he directly used the skill card for Bakudō #1. Sai.

In an instant, everyone's hands and feet were completely controlled. Their hands were also tied behind their backs, and the remote controls fell to the ground.

After taking off the "hat" on his head, Yuma stood up. "I still think my way is better. It's more beneficial for both of us."

"How is that possible?" General Ross fell to the ground, his eyes wide. "The drugs haven't stopped. How can you be fine?"

"It's hard to explain to you," Yuma materialized his Zanpakuto in his hand. As he killed the others, he said to General Ross. "Since you know that I'm very strong, and you still dare to do this to me, you should be mentally prepared to bear the consequences."

Wiping the blood off his blade, Yuma used "This Rope" to tie up General Ross again. He grabbed him and said, "Let's go. Let's go see how your base disappeared."

"Damn it, do you know how many people you're going to kill by doing this?" General Ross said with a ferocious expression. "If you want revenge, come for me alone. Don't attack the others. They're just soldiers obeying orders. They don't know anything about this! You're…"

"Don't say that anymore," Yuma sealed the other side's mouth. "You'll affect your image in my mind if you say too much."

After saying that, he grabbed General Ross and walked directly out of the room, amidst the piercing alarm and Ross' resentful gaze…
