Chapter 59 - 59- Towards Marine Sect

While Yang Kai was deep in cultivation, honing his strength in the High Heaven Sect, I—his master—walked a path of chaos, conquest, and… search.

The moment I left the sect, I wasn't alone. At my side were three companions: Yun Sha, Mu Lingyao, and Feng Xuan. Together, we ventured eastward—toward the far reaches of the Eastern Continent.

Why?

Because that's where my swords were said to be—each one scattered across different continents, bound to the fate of this world.

I stood at the bow of the flying ship, wind slashing across my face, and groaned, "Why the hell does this Eastern Continent feel like it's five realms away…"

Mu Lingyao snapped from behind, "Hey! Bastard, keep your mouth shut or I'll get really angry!"

I turned with a lazy grin. "Huh? Why so angry?"

She crossed her arms. "Because you left that cute Yang Kai at the sect! I liked having that kid around."

Feng Xuan chuckled. "If you want a kid so bad, go find a man and marry him. Problem solved!"

The group burst into laughter—except Mu Lingyao. Her eyes narrowed dangerously.

"You little brat…" she hissed.

In a blink, she leapt off her sword and landed squarely on Feng Xuan's. What followed was a flurry of kicks, slaps, and very colorful insults. Feng Xuan wailed in protest as Mu Lingyao pummeled him like a wildcat.

The rest of us could only laugh harder.

And so, in this ridiculous fashion, we arrived at the Eastern Continent.

I stood atop the cloud-soaring ship and asked, "So we've arrived. Yun Sha—do you know where the Forbidden Area of this continent is?"

Yun Sha raised a brow. "I know it… but why are you asking?"

"We're going there first."

Feng Xuan groaned. "You really are insane. Why do you always want to dive straight into the most dangerous place in every land?"

I smirked. "Let's just call it… part of my training."

Yun Sha rolled her eyes. "Training that only applies to you, right?"

"You could say that."

She sighed. "Fine. The place is called Aqua Valley. The spiritual energy there is absurdly powerful, but there's a problem. The valley lies within the territory of the Marine Sect."

I frowned. "Marine Sect? What kind of sect is that?"

Feng Xuan chimed in. "I've heard about them. They don't care about the world's affairs and never show up to any of the grand sect competitions."

Mu Lingyao added, "But I also heard something strange… They say their ancestors ascended to the Upper World centuries ago."

I paused. "Upper World… so there is a place beyond this realm."

Feng Xuan shrugged. "It's just a theory. No one's been able to go there in over a thousand years. The Marine Sect talks about it, but there's no proof."

"I think they're telling the truth."

Feng Xuan turned to me. "Why are you so confident?"

"Because," I said with a faint smile, "cultivation has no limits."

Mu Lingyao rolled her eyes. "Ugh. That's your answer? How dramatic."

I looked at the three of them, then leaned in. "Want to hear a secret?"

Their ears perked up. "A secret? What kind?"

I lowered my voice. "I don't have proof, but… there's a place called Outer Space."

Mu Lingyao blinked. "Outer Space?"

Feng Xuan scratched his head. "What, is it some kind of… big empty space?"

"Not exactly," I said. "With the knowledge from the novels I've read, it's a vast realm above our skies—where people can have entire worlds of their own."

Feng Xuan's jaw dropped. "You're saying… they can create their own worlds?"

"Yes," I replied. "That's the path of true immortality."

The group fell silent for a moment, letting the thought sink in. Then, without another word, we soared forward on our swords—cutting across the sky, bound for the Marine Sect.
