**Resilience—Mattia Turzo**
For some, that night was simply the night to celebrate the Queen's thirtieth birthday banquet. For others though, the night represented an opportunity to finally behold the Queen and the Princess Royal who remained away from the public eyes for four good years.
The Capital of Thalor was filled with an abundance of rumour told through the barbs of drunken poets, and the exaggerated stories of enthusiastic storytellers.
Some said the Queen sacrificed half of her lifeline to raise her daughter back from the dead through some devious witchcraft. Others said the young princess must have been turned into a degenerate blood sucking creature that morphed into a monster every full moon which was why she kept away from the public eye.
Yet amongst those rumours sewed into poems and scandalous tales, no one could understand how a Queen who was scorned by her husband and in-laws would return with a grand flair, only to remain ever silent for four suffocating years.
