Cecilia stood on the palace steps, wearing a light red robe, the official color of her kingdom. Her face was still pale because she had not fully recovered. But that day, she appeared again, all just to say goodbye to Prince Damian.
In front of her, a horse-drawn carriage belonging to the Landis Kingdom had been waiting for Damian to enter. Damian stood beside the carriage door. His gaze was gentle as he spoke to Cecilia, who was waiting for him to leave.
"Make sure you have fully recovered before you do anything else," Damian said. "It's good to be passionate. But your body is not a tool that can be forced to keep moving without resting."
Cecilia smiled faintly. Damian had saved her life twice. Although Cecilia still felt doubtful, she still tried to put more hope in the man now.
"Alright. Thank you for your advice, Prince."
Damian smiled. Time was ticking. Although he still wanted to talk to Cecilia, he had to return to Landis as soon as possible.
