Chapter 31 - Chapter 31: Heart's Laid Bare.

Epilogue-The Gathering Storm.

 The world held its breath.

The threads of fate, once loose and tangled, now pulled tight like ropes around the necks of gods and mortals alike. Shadows stretched longer, and the air hummed with the tension of a storm about to break.

Somewhere in the darkness, Carel and Saga whispered in secret, their voices low and urgent. They were weaving their final plan—a desperate gamble that could save their world or doom it forever.

Meanwhile, Sted and Krelious laughed together, lost in the heat of their passion. They did not see the cracks forming in the walls of reality. They did not feel the Void creeping closer, its hunger endless and cold.

Far away, trapped in the burning pits of Hell, Nielan clenched his fists. His body ached, his soul burned—but he waited. Patient. Unbroken. The time for vengeance would come.

And all around them, the Reveiverse trembled. It stood on the edge of a blade, balanced between ruin and salvation. One wrong move, one misstep… and everything would fall.

The War Rulers: The Destroyed Verses

A Tale of Redemption, Love, and Duty

 The Aftermath of Forgiveness

The battlefield was silent at last.

The four rulers—Dainen, Deriss, Lenon, and Amiss—stood among the ruins of the worlds they had fought to destroy. The ground beneath their feet was scorched and broken. The air smelled of smoke, magic, and exhaustion.

 They had done the impossible.

They had restored two shattered verses. They had brought back the dead. And now, as the dust settled, they were still standing.

Dainen, the Chief of Armies, wiped the sweat from his brow. His muscles ached, his bones felt heavy, but his heart was light.

"I'm grateful," he said, his voice rough with tiredness. "We could have been sealed away… or killed. But instead… we were forgiven."

Beside him, Deriss nodded. Her silver eyes glowed faintly in the fading light. "Yeah… that's true."

Lenon stretched her arms and sighed. "I think… it's time to go home. Our task is done."

Amiss, the fastest of them all, leaned against a broken pillar. Her chest rose and fell with deep, exhausted breaths. "Restoring two verses… bringing back their dead… it wasn't easy. I'm… so tired."

Dainen gave a weak smile. "I feel you. I'm tired too. Alright… let's head back and report to the king."

But before they could move, Deriss held up a hand. Her voice was soft but sharp.

"Wait, Chief. Before we go… I want to ask you something."

 Dainen frowned. "What is it?"

Deriss took a deep breath. "Who do you prefer… among the three of us?"

 Silence.

Dainen blinked. "Deriss… what did you just say?"

She didn't back down. "If you had to choose… who would you marry?"

The question hung in the air like a sword.

 The Weight of Hearts Unspoken

 Dainen's face went pale.

"Oh… so that's what you mean." He rubbed his temples, struggling to find the right words. "To be honest… I'm not ready for that. I have too much work to do."

Amiss stared at him. Her eyes were full of hurt. "That's not the real reason, is it? You just… don't love us."

Dainen hesitated. Then, slowly, he nodded. "Yes… it's true. I don't love any of you… not like that. To me, you're family. You're my closest friends."

Deriss stiffened. Her voice turned cold. "Are you sure, Chief? You know the rules have changed. We're allowed to… reproduce now."

Dainen could see they wouldn't let this go.

"Alright," he said, sighing. "Then let me ask you this…"

Lenon crossed her arms. "Go ahead."

 Amiss nodded. "Say it."

 Dainen took a deep breath.

"If you're all so desperate… would you let me take all of you as my wives?" A Proposal of Necessity

 The reaction was instant.

Deriss gasped, her cheeks turning red. But beneath the shock, there was hope. "I… I was surprised… but if it means I can be with him… then yes! Yes, Chief!"

Amiss studied Dainen's face. She saw no lies—only fear. "I just… want to be with him," she whispered. "Yes, Chief. I accept."

But Lenon shook her head, smirking. "Sorry, Chief. I'm not interested. There's another ruler I have my eye on. You can have these two."

Dainen walked to Deriss and Amiss, his voice low. "Are you both sure? This isn't just… duty? You truly want this?"

Amiss frowned. "Chief… why are you pushing us away? We already said yes. What more do you want?"

Dainen's shoulders slumped. "It's not that I don't want you. I do. But I'm afraid. I don't know how to be a husband… or a father. What if I fail? What if I'm not there for our child?"

Deriss laughed, breaking the tension. "Chief, stop worrying! We'll help you. Right, Amiss?"

 Amiss nodded firmly.

Lenon rolled her eyes. "Alright, lovebirds. Let's go home. I'm exhausted."

Dainen chuckled. "You're right. Amiss—gather the troops. We're leaving."

Amiss saluted and took off, her wings carrying her across the battlefield. Within minutes, the army stood ready.

Dainen raised his hands. "Everyone—prepare! I'm using a powerful spell to take us home!"

 The soldiers roared: "YES, CHIEF!"

The air crackled with energy as Dainen summoned Vorki—a spell without limits. A spell that could take them anywhere.

And in a flash of light… they were gone.

 Epilogue-The Journey Ahead

 The war was over.

 The verses were saved.

But for Dainen, Deriss, and Amiss, a new story was just beginning—one of love, duty, and the fears of a leader torn between his heart and his crown.

As the teleportation spell faded, the wind carried whispers of battles yet to come—not just with swords and magic, but within their own souls.

 Was this the end?

 Or just the beginning?

 To Be Continued.
