"Wait... it's him?"
Gwen's eyes lit up with surprise and relief when she saw the figure in front of her.
"Look—it's Superman!"
"Oh thank God, we're saved!"
People inside the building saw the figure floating outside their windows—like a god hovering in mid-air—and instantly erupted with cheers. It was like being pulled back from the edge of death.
"Be careful!" Gwen called out.
Even so, worry gnawed at her.
Yeah, people called him Superman, but no one actually knew if he had the same insane power as the Superman from the comics.
And that green monster? Gwen knew firsthand just how dangerous it was.
Honestly? That thing could take on at least ten of her at once.
But the man in front of her didn't flinch.
Didn't panic.
Didn't even seem to take it seriously.
As the enormous chunk of concrete—easily over a hundred tons—hurtled toward them with full force...
He just raised one hand.
BOOM.
A soft thud, like a pebble dropping into a still pond.
Gwen thought she saw the space around his hand ripple—like water.
That gigantic slab, packed with momentum and destruction, stopped dead in its tracks—caught effortlessly by that one raised hand.
He didn't even budge.
Didn't move an inch.
Just stood there, calm and graceful—like it was nothing.
"Damn… he's strong!"
Right then, Gwen finally understood what real power looked like.
"Go help the other injured people. I'll handle this guy."
With a commanding voice that left no room for argument, the figure in front of her shot off toward the green monster—while holding a massive boulder that had to weigh over a hundred tons in one hand.
"That guy…"
Even though his tone kind of rubbed her the wrong way, Gwen still followed his orders. Gritting her teeth and pushing through her barely recovered injuries, she rushed off to help the other civilians who'd been caught in the chaos.
Meanwhile, Peter—still holding that absurdly huge boulder—had already reached the Four-Armed Hulk.
Looking down at the monster, who somehow managed to look even uglier than the regular Hulk but just as jacked, Peter said slowly,"We need to talk."
"RAHHH! You pathetic ant!"
The Hulk, who could barely speak human language, let out a furious roar at the flying Peter.
"Alright then," Peter muttered. "Guess we're doing this the flashy way."
Since the Hulk clearly wasn't interested in chatting, Peter didn't hesitate. He swung the massive boulder like it was a giant spiked club and slammed it down toward the Hulk with a violent force.
BAM!
Of course, Hulk wasn't just gonna stand there and take it. He bent his knees, launched himself into the air, and threw all four fists upward to punch the boulder before it could crush him.
But the result wasn't what he expected.
Whether he didn't jump high enough or just didn't manage to hit with full force, the boulder didn't even crack.
Instead, the Hulk got smacked back down to the ground like a fly swatted out of the air.
"RAHHH!!"
Getting knocked around like that for the first time really set him off. He let out another roar at Peter, still hovering in the air.
"Shut up."
Without giving him a chance to recover, Peter brought the boulder down again with another brutal slam.
BOOM!
Even though the Hulk reacted fast and used all four arms to block, the sheer weight of the rock still smashed into him hard. He was able to stay standing, but his legs were driven deep into the ground.
"Still wanna scream? Go ahead—let's hear it again."
Peter started hammering the Hulk into the ground like he was a human nail. The boulder had become a makeshift hammer, and Peter just kept swinging, over and over again.
It was so savage it made your scalp tingle just watching it.
BANG! CRACK!
After more than a dozen brutal hits, the giant boulder finally couldn't take it anymore. It shattered into pieces with one last massive blow.
And as for the Hulk?
He was gone—literally. His entire body had been slammed so deep into the earth that there wasn't even a trace of him on the surface anymore.
Suddenly—
ROAR!
The Hulk burst out from the ground behind Peter and lunged straight at him, fists swinging.
"Tch, I saw that coming a mile away."
Peter didn't panic. He smoothly twisted his body in midair, turning around with perfect control. At the same time, a dangerous red glow lit up in his eyes.
The Hulk was fast—less than a tenth of a second passed before he was right in front of Peter, swinging those massive fists like sledgehammers, aiming for Peter's face.
ZZZAP!
But just as the punch was about to land, a blazing beam of heat vision erupted from Peter's eyes.
It hit the Hulk dead center in the chest and launched him back the same way he came, like someone pressed rewind on a cannonball.
BOOM!
The Hulk slammed into the street below, and the heat vision didn't let up.
Blazing heat mixed with insane impact force pushed the Hulk's body across the pavement like a high-speed bulldozer.
By the time Peter finally stopped, he'd carved a trench several meters deep and hundreds of meters long into the road.
A massive, charred wound was scorched into the Hulk's chest. Even his steel-like green skin was now black and red from the burn.
"RAAAHHH!!"
The pain made Hulk throw his head back and howl.
But of course, the Hulk's insane healing kicked in.
In just a few seconds, the wound was gone—completely healed like it was never there.
He pushed himself up from the ground and leapt into the air again.
Only this time… he wasn't aiming at Peter.
He was running the other way.
"Trying to run?"
Peter let out a cold snort. As far as he was concerned, nobody escapes from his hands.
With a burst of speed that shattered the sound barrier, he took off like a bullet, leaving behind a thunderous sonic boom.
In the blink of an eye, he was right behind the airborne Hulk.
And then—
WHAM!
Peter's iron-like fist smashed straight into the Hulk's back.
The force was so intense that it sounded like a missile going off.
Hulk's giant body was sent flying like a rocket, crashing through a huge skyscraper and blasting a massive, black hole through it.
He flew several kilometers before finally splashing down into the ocean near a long sea bridge, sending up an enormous wave.
Not even a second passed before Peter appeared above the bridge, having stopped mid-air like physics meant nothing to him.
(Sorry, Newton.)
Then, all of a sudden, the calm surface of the sea exploded.
BOOM!
The Hulk shot out of the water like a torpedo, punching through the sea bridge from underneath.
But even after busting through solid steel, he didn't slow down—he was still gunning for Peter in the sky.
Peter exhaled softly.
Whoosh—
And out came a stream of icy breath.
