Looking around to make sure I was alone, I entered a nearby empty house to begin the evolution process. Naturally, I allocated all my stat points beforehand.
"Evolve!" I declared without hesitation.
After saying that, I suddenly dropped to my knees, screaming—though not for the reason I expected.
"Aaaaaah!"
I cried out as a powerful surge rushed through my entire body, not of pain, but of overwhelming energy and exhilaration.
This wasn't what I was prepared for at all. I had braced myself for the burning pain like before—not this strange, almost euphoric rush.
I held myself tightly, shaking and breathing heavily as the sensation lasted for what felt like minutes.
"Haah… haah… That was… kind of embarrassing," I muttered once it passed, cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
Thankfully, no one had seen me in that awkward state.
After catching my breath, I took a deep breath to steady myself and immediately checked my status.
"Whoa… that's definitely an improvement," I said, genuinely impressed by the results.

After observing my status, I was able to conclude a few improvements. First, I gained fifty points across all my stats. Second, I acquired a new skill after evolving.
Looking at my skill list, I decided to upgrade Mana Detection and Mana Concealment to the max first—after all, I don't want to get hit by a surprise attack, and I want to stay hidden from the two devils in Kuoh.
After that, I also upgraded Dark Enchantment. Since darkness is my main ability, it's crucial to strengthen it.
Feeling satisfied with my status, I started thinking about what to do next. Should I continue luring stray devils for EXP, or just call it a day and go home?
After thinking it over, I decided to continue hunting stray devils while testing out my new powers.
I immediately activated Demonic Aura. The moment I did, I could tell it was stronger than before—so much so that I quickly deactivated it.
"Well, I've gotten stronger, so it makes sense that my skills have improved too," I muttered to myself.
Not long after, a large group of stray devils appeared. Using my new Mana Detection skill, I was able to sense their numbers—thirty-two in total.
Seeing that number didn't faze me at all. In fact, it felt like I could slaughter every last one of them with ease.
But this time, it wasn't just stray devils. Among them, I spotted a few yokai as well. It's hard to distinguish between stray devils and yokai visually, but according to Mana Detection, their auras were very different.
With that, I launched my attack—and the sound of death cries echoed through the dark night.
A few minutes later, they were all lying dead on the ground. I was both shocked and happy by the results of my evolution.
I didn't expect this. Stray devils, who used to be tough opponents, were now so easy to defeat.
I then proceeded to touch each of their corpses one by one. But after I finished, I frowned.
Out of thirty-two corpses, I had only leveled up twice. Before, I only needed to kill eight enemies to reach level twenty. Now, even after killing thirty-two, I only gained two levels?
It seems that with every evolution, leveling up gets harder. I frowned at the thought—if that's the case, I'll need to come up with a better plan to level up faster.
I shook my head. That's something for the future. For now, I'll just do what I can.
I checked my status and was slightly surprised. I had twenty stat points, but only six skill points. It looks like I gained more stat points after evolving, while the skill points remained the same.
After thinking for a bit, I allocated ten points each to MP and Intelligence, and I also maxed out Dark Manipulation.

Since all of my stats increased during evolution, I can now focus my stat points in the direction I want.
I then used Dark Power, watching as it transformed into various forms above my hand—it felt stronger and easier to control.
Especially with the addition of Dark Enchantment, Dark Manipulation, and my boosted intelligence, I feel like I can use it for all sorts of things.
But that's for another time, since it's already close to midnight—I should head home.
With that thought, I flew back home, enjoying the new experience.
The Next Day
Yawn
I let out a yawn as I came down from the second floor, still feeling a bit sleepy. I headed to the bathroom to splash some water on my face and wake myself up.
But as I opened the bathroom door, I was instantly wide awake.
There stood Lina, completely naked, staring at me in shock.
Her blue eyes widened as she froze, clearly not expecting anyone to walk in. Her blonde hair was still wet, suggesting she had just finished showering. Her figure was curvy—while maybe not as seductive as Yana's, Lina's body was still quite attractive.
Then she quickly covered her chest and lower area with her hands, her face turning bright red.
"W-What are you doing!? Hurry up and close the door!!" she shouted.
I quickly did as she said, shutting the door.
"Okay," I replied calmly. After all, I wasn't exactly inexperienced in my previous life.
Standing outside, I glanced down at my lower half with curiosity.
"Did it get bigger than before?" I muttered to myself, feeling like it was getting bigger than before.
As I was lost in thought, Lina stepped out of the bathroom.
"Forget what you saw," she said firmly, though her face was still flushed. It was clear she was flustered that her stepbrother had seen her like that.
I raised an eyebrow, amused.
"Don't worry—you've got a nice figure," I said with a thumbs-up and a grin.
"Stupid brother!!" she snapped, giving me a light punch in the stomach, her face still red—though I couldn't tell if it was from anger or embarrassment.
Then she ran off to her room in a hurry.
I shook my head with a smile, then walked into the bathroom.
In the bathroom, I examined my entire body and noticed some changes—my body had become more muscular. While I wasn't quite at a bodybuilder level, I still looked strong. You could say I'd gained an ideal physique.
I then looked down at my lower body, and yeah, it definitely got bigger.
It looks like a big eel… or maybe an anaconda? I thought, amused.
After that, I showered with cold water, shivering a bit as it touched my skin.
Even though it's cold, I always use cold water because it leaves me feeling really refreshed.
Once I finished showering, I went back to my room to put on my school uniform.
As I did, I complained a little in my head—Why do I have to go to school again?
But then I sighed in resignation. I guess I should just enjoy my youth again.
With that thought, I felt a little better as I finished putting on my uniform.
After that, I went down to the first floor for breakfast. I saw Yana and Lina were already there, so I greeted them.
"Good morning," I said as I sat down on a chair.
"Good morning," Yana replied, her feelings mixed as she looked at Ren, remembering what had happened the day before.
"G-good morning," Lina said with a stutter, avoiding eye contact with me, her face red.
Yana, noticing Lina's strange behavior, tilted her head slightly, confused by her odd actions.
As for me, I simply acted as if nothing had happened and began eating my breakfast.
"Itadakimasu," I said before digging in, feeling that Yana's cooking was the best.
After that, we ate while chatting about small things.
During the conversation, I tried to hold back my Temptation skill, and it seemed to work pretty well since Yana and Lina were able to talk to me more comfortably.
After we finished eating, Lina and I headed straight to school, and Yana walked us to the door.
"Be careful on your way," Yana said with a gentle smile.
"Yeah," Lina replied.
As for me, I just nodded. Then a thought crossed my mind, and a sly smile appeared on my face.
I immediately hugged Yana's waist with my left hand and gave her a deep kiss while my right hand gently squeezed her big, soft and supple breasts.
Yana's green eyes widened in shock. She also looked worried because Lina was right in front of them, which made her try to push Ren away, urging him not to do it now.
After feeling Yana's body for a moment, I finally felt satisfied and let her go.
Yana gasped for breath, glaring at Ren with a flushed face.
I just smiled at her.
"Alright, Yana, we're going. Take care of the house," I said as I caught up with Lina, who hadn't noticed what I had done to her mother.
Yana simply looked at Ren with a hint of longing, then sighed and turned around to get back to her chores.
Lina and I then left for school together. With my Temptation suppressed, Lina was able to make small talk as we walked side by side without her face turning red—though she still occasionally glanced at me.
"Hey, why do you smell so nice? Are you wearing perfume?" Lina asked, catching a whiff of Ren's scent, which made her want to get closer, though she held herself back.
"No, I'm not wearing any perfume. Do I really smell that good?" I replied, sniffing myself in surprise.
"It really does smell good!" I said, startled, wondering why I hadn't noticed it before.
Now that I think about it—after my evolution, I gained a skill called Pheromone. Maybe that's what's making me smell so pleasant.
As we continue making small talk, we finally arrive at Kuoh Academy—our house isn't that far from Kuoh, after all.
Seeing Kuoh up close sparks a few thoughts in my mind, but I shake my head to get rid of them and head straight through the school gates.
As I walk through the entrance, I notice almost all students glancing my way. It's a bit bothering me, but I just ignore them and keep walking.
"Looks like you're getting more popular, big bro," Lina says with amusement.
"I'm not happy about it," I replied with a frown.
Lina smiles, somehow pleased by my reaction.
"Alright, I gotta go. Bye bye!" she says as she heads to her class.
I just wave my hand and head to my own class as well.
